The next day is a blur to Joy as she wakes up next to said person, rushing to get ready and leave and pretend like none of the events from earlier took place. It isn’t until she’s called in to collab with another person from the entertainment business on whatever project (we can figure this out in pms) it is she's set up to do with y/n, that her gaze goes from relaxed to being stuck in awe when she comes face to face with the person she had just woken up to a few hours prior to arrival.

Soojung arrives at the police station to follow up on a missing person's case she's been working on. Meanwhile, you are visiting the police station to follow up on a report of an incident you witnessed in your neighborhood. Their paths cross in the station's waiting area, where you approach Soojung, believing her to be the suspect in the incident you reported. Soojung, however, assumes that you must be related to the missing person case she's working on. The encounter has a series of misunderstandings and attempts to explain themselves with Soojung trying to convince you that she's not a criminal, while you attempt to clarify that you have nothing to do with a missing person.

Their attempts to outdo each other in a series of escalating pranks within the dimly lit theater become the focus of the movie.

lia recently gets hired for a job that seems nothing but positives. a hiring bonus, good pay, flexible hours, benefits etc. however, when she shows up for her first shift, she doesn't feel good, feeling faint, dizzy and uncoordinated. you happen to spot lia in this state, and think something suspicious is going on. concerned for her, you decide to keep an eye on her. suddenly, she disappears. you go looking for her, and find her in a very sketchy and precarious situation. you intervene, saving her from a night that could have ended terribly. she looks at you, barely conscious, and in a whisper, begs you desperately not to take her to the hospital. you don't listen to her, and do.

she wakes up in the emergency room, hours later. realizing where she is, she's enraged, and even more so when she sees you, recognizing you as the last person she saw before she blacked out. thinking you're the one who put her in this state, she leaves the hospital against medical advice, and calls the police on you.

you're detained, brought to the station in for questioning. you plead your case, but are kept in jail overnight until the police officers are able to investigate. they find evidence on cctv that you're innocent. the officers break this finding to lia, whom feels bad for accusing you, but also is still upset at you for bringing her to the hospital, as she now has hospital bills to pay. she reaches out to you, thanking you at first, but then tells you to pay up.
