The Nae-jeon was a living space for the king and queen, located in the center of the palace. This part of the palace is composed of the Dae-jeon and the Jung-gung-jeon. Dae-jeon was the area where the king slept and worked, and Jung-gung-jeon was where the queen slept and worked.
