@❧ camila bae to say he was nervous would be an utter understatement, he felt as if his heart had plummeted into his stomach but that sole feeling was soon replaced with a sense of warmth, a comfort that had him smiling to himself as his fingers meddled with the strings attached to his hood. "it's a pleasure to meet you as well, camila. that's a pretty name by the way, but it sounds foreign, i'm sorry for prying but are you fully korean?" he was more so speaking to himself but his curiosity spilled over before he could refrain.

@❥ lucas han "wow that's actually pretty cool. it's nice that you have a good enough relationship with your father to travel to and from. I've always wanted to visit america, is it as cool as movies make it out to be?" she asks, knowing the answer is probably a no, because of course that's how the industry works. "I am actually from jeju, but I moved to seoul for my job. I'm a psychologist so it's easier to get clients in the city than in jeju."

@❧ park minyeong “it’s complicated with details but to make it short, yes. i was born in america but moved to korea with my mother when i was ten. i travel back and forth when i have time to, to visit my father back in america.” he explained simply, he was sure she wouldn’t want to hear the whole story on their first meeting. “have you always lived in this area?”

@❧ lee sunhee A slender figure can be seen approaching the door of the pod, one hand taking a hold of the door knob while she had hugged a hard cover notebook to her chest and just before she enters she takes a few deep breaths; it was to ease her nerves. Once she enters her eyes are looking in awe at how the pod was decorated, admiring the pretty colored lights here and there before making her way to take a seat at the sofa. The young woman brings one of the decorative pillows and sets it on her lap, the notebook she had held now being laid on top of the pillow. Having settled down on the sofa seemed to help her calm down, a determined smile curls on her lips, umber orbs staring at the murky colored glass as curiosity not piques her; just who exactly was behind it and were they truly the one? Or perhaps someone who would grow to be a very best friend. "Hey, hey! Hope your travels here went well, it's nice to meet you by the way. I'm Seonbi. You can go ahead and speak as comfortably casual."

@❥ choi sohee camila steps into the pod room, looking around the area in slight awe for finally experiencing in person what she'd briefly watched previously. she had only a couple of seconds to herself before hearing another voice call out to her. "oh." she mutters to herself and takes a seat on the comfy sofa, her curious gazing turning to the radiant screen that must be blocking her and her date on the other side. "hello there sohee, i am camila. yes, that is alright with me. it's nice to meet you."

@❥ kim siwoo haewon laughs, the sound a bit airy, stopped short in his upper palate like he had muffled the sound behind closed lips. "it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, siwoo." he takes a seat on the sofa, one arm resting on its arm while he crosses his legs to rest an ankle on his thigh beneath the hold of his other hand. he relaxes, albeit just a little as he looks over the paneling of the walls, the set dressing, rather than focus on the featureless, colored screen in place of his date. "perceptive of you." he lifts his hand from his ankle and shakes it, fidgeting the face of his wristwatch with a slightly audible jingle of the metal. "i'm thirty-seven. for the sake of this as a blind date though, address me as you feel comfortable. it wouldn't do to put up more walls than there are already," he looks pointedly at the wall standing between, "unless that's how you feel most comfortable."

@❥ lucas han minyeong grabs a pillow from the couch that has fringe, messing with the fringe strings in an attempt to calm her nerves. "well if you think it's normal then that makes me feel better." she laughs as well, adjusting her position on the couch. "lucas, I see, it's nice to hear you too." she laughs once again, feeling a lot more relaxed after being able to laugh comfortably. "so, lucas, are you a foreigner?"

@❥ kang haewon a brief chuckle spills out siwoo's mouth after staying silent in his seat since his date entered. "no worries, i found your introduction amusing to say the least," he affably responds before clearing his throat and returning the gesture, "i'm siwoo, by the way." picking up a pillow he previously dropped, he comfortably settles on the couch and speaks, "so you mentioned the word /youth/, i assume you hold quite a number of years under your belt. will it be callous if i ask about it?" he pauses before adding a reason for his question, "i just want to know how to address you better."

@❥ kim siwoo "new date just dropped." uncharacteristic playfulness entered haewon's deep voice as he stepped into the pod and announced himself to his date - it was likely that sitting alone in these rooms was getting to him. "i think that's what the youth say. god that makes me sound old." his voice descended as he drew the door shut, the sentiment meant for him alone as he crossed toward the sofa waiting for him. "i'm haewon, your woefully out of touch next date. if you hold that against me, i completely understand."

@❧ imani amatayakul ᵐᵃᶦᵃ being hard wired to turn feelings such as nervousness into more positive feelings such as confidence and even adrenaline made it easier for lucas to approach people a lot easier ontop of being a naturally friendly and talkative person already. being surrounded by people and meeting new people daily made it easier.

but this was still a new situation, something he had never experienced before. he was sure that if he was nervous that the person on the other side surely was too. he waited a few moments to let the stranger get settled before he spoke up. "hello, i'm lucas." he started, voice smooth. "its easier said than done but lets speak comfortably, okay?" he added, a certain tone that he uses to comfort others while working peeking out.

@❧ park minyeong lucas’s lips curve upwards with an excited— yet still somewhat nervous grin as the voice from the other side of the screen reached him. in reaction to his attention being gained by his secret date, his posture straightened ( as if she could see him. ) “i think its normal to be at least a little nervous, right.” his voice bounced with a light chuckle. “ i’m lucas ! it’s nice to uh— hear you?” the end of his sentence coming out as a question, wondering if it made sense with the current situation.

@❧ camila bae “hello?” he calls out with a voice gentle as autumn breeze, the calm tone highly contrasting the tumultuous nerves wrecking through his insides. with both fist curled against his lap, he gathers the courage to introduce himself. “i’m sohee, is it alright if we start off speaking casually?”

@❥ lucas han minyeong enters the pod, settling onto the couch after closing the door. she lets out a nervous breath as she stares at the colorful screen that is between her and her date on the other side. "okay, hi, I'm really nervous and I don't know why." she laughs softly before speaking again. "anyway, I'm minyeong, what is your name?"
