@jackson wang Fei's eyes lit up when the other agreed, the orbs following him as he stood to his full height. "Wonderful, thank you so much." She looked to the onlookers and gave them a soft glare in slight warning to mind their business. She couldn't stand nosy souls. "Come, let's get you a nice meal. You must be starving.." Holding his hand in hers, she led him to the tavern, weaving in and out of others until they stepped inside. The warmth brushed against her cheeks, making her sigh in content, and she helped him to a seat. "What's your name, might I ask?"

@wang fei fei Something about the touch felt off- warm but alarming, alluring yet as dangerous as it was enchanting, he was too enticed by the offer to reject it, rising up as he blindly sought after his burlap bag he hooked over his shoulder while rising to his full height. "how can I refuse such a kind hearted offer from such a generous soul." By now the voices around fell silent, he could feel the eyes of onlookers watching out of curiosity, setting his jaw to keep from letting the humiliation get to him. "It would be my pleasure to keep you company, madame"

@jackson wang She watched as the man touched her skin, his fingers were much like ice and sent a chill through her body, but it was when he suddenly jerked back that surprised her. Furrowing her brows, she takes his hand in both her own and rubs it in attempt to warm it up. "Mm, not at all. I was hoping to save myself the embarrassment, but if you must know, even a woman like myself can get rather lonely. I've not many friends, no family... So, when I saw you, I just thought it would be nice to offer you a meal and a warmer set of clothes in exchange for some company. Though, I do understand if you choose not to.. it'd just be a pity."

@wang fei fei He didn't think anyone was speaking to him at first. Wringing his hands for added warmth as he blew a gust of hot air over the appendages, jolting upon the touch as if it was an unsuspecting burn upon contact. He hesitated before reaching out, his dirt stained fingers brushing across the soft skin of her own, venturing all the way to her wrist before jerking back in fear. He had half a mind to blow her off, not wanting to pay the price for the offered goods but it has been nearly two days since his last proper meal and the cold was enough to drive one towards a perpetual state of madness. And as everyone knows, mad people have a habit of doing crazy things. "I don't have no money... If you're looking to be compensated" he was reluctant to give up the truth, along with the possibility of losing a warm meal and a promise to get out of the cold but it wouldn't do any good to be wasting anyone's time around here.

@jackson wang Wintertime had always been one of the best seasons for Fei. Many people weren't in good health, tax season drew nearer, and many families barely survived through the harsh blizzards that blew through the village and made it that much more difficult to keep their little homes warm. The most desperate of people turned their backs on who they once called God and looked towards the darker beings behind closed doors. Desperate times called for desperate measures, after all. Many deals were made around this time, and Fei was always kept well fed while keeping her true identity hidden from the poor, naive beings.

Taking the last swig of her beer, she left her coins on the table and made her way out of the tavern, her eyes having been kept on the seemingly blind male at the fire. 'Poor thing,' she thought, a small grin creeping onto her scarlet painted lips, and she made her way over. "Excuse me, sir.." she started, placing her hand on his arm in a gentle attempt to make it known she was referring to him. "May I get you something warmer to wear? And perhaps a warm meal?"

@wang fei fei Shaky hands stretched out over coals of a dying fire, a shred of cloth covering his eyes, making it difficult to gauge the distance between the flames, burning himself from time to time. It was cold. It had been for some time and it was only going to get worse from there. There were others sitting around him, some familiar by the sound of their voice, others less so, all engaged in a conversation he wasn't apart of. He didn't mind it though, he welcomed the warmth as he huddled up closer, the icy ground stinging through thin pants as goosebumps pricked his skin, pulling a small shiver from him.
