@jaejoong After Jae placed the last of the dishes on the table and took his seat, Zelo’s face lit up with a bright smile, beaming with delight as the elder said grace. Following along, Zelo nodded solemnly, murmuring "Amen" before eagerly diving into the meal.
The elder, a kind and skilled companion, had mastered the art of human cooking—something that resonated deeply with Zelo, who was only part human and relatively new to exploring human cuisine. Among the dishes, the fish stood out as his clear favorite, a specialty prepared just for him.
“Wow, Jae, everything is so amazing!” Zelo exclaimed, his words bursting with excitement. “And the fish is especially yummy—my mate is an incredible cook!” Clapping his hands in joy, he grinned widely, his genuine enthusiasm lighting up the room as he expressed his heartfelt praise.
@zelo ˢⁱʳᵉⁿ Jae brought the rest of the plates and had them set and Jae looked at the other. "Lets get into this eating thing" He looked at the other and said grace before getting into the food. "Some of the foods I got to doing some fish. let me know if you like them"
@jaejoong Zelo pouted cutely, his expression soft and sweet as he glanced at the elder. "But they’re cute because I picked them," he said, his voice playful and filled with affection.
His eyes softened even more as he looked up at the elder, a gentle smile gracing his lips. "We’re a family now, and it’s all so new to me. I want to find little ways to make you smile—just a little."
With careful hands, Zelo poured juice over ice, adding adorable drink straws to each glass. He folded the napkins neatly and placed them on the table with a sense of quiet pride. "It’s the little things, you know," he said, his voice warm and sincere.
Finally, Zelo settled into his seat at the table, his smile brighter as he prepared to enjoy the meal the elder had thoughtfully made for them.
@zelo ˢⁱʳᵉⁿ Just as the other asked if it was pretty, Jae turned to look at the two plates that was grabbed and thus went to see the plates. "They are the same plates we eat with everyday" he said and looked at the plates. "But it it makes you happy. I guess they are pretty plain white plates you have there" he spoke and then looked at the food. "Go on and dig into the food before it gets cold"
@jaejoong The younger smiled, nodded cutely, and nuzzled the elder softly before setting up the table for them both. He can already tell he liked his elder and the elder was being a kind and nice husband by making sure he made foods that the younger liked so Zelo smiled and let the elder mate know he was done with his duty/ Jae look is it pretty? he said showing his style of fixing up the table.
@zelo ˢⁱʳᵉⁿ Jae felt the hands go around his torso and then looked at the other. shakes head and looks at the younger by turning his head to the side to see the taller figure. "If you want to get started on eating, You can grab a plate. I haven't set the plates out yet, since I went straight into cooking" he spoke and looked at the other with a nod.
@jaejoong The younger had spent a lazy morning sprawled on the couch, drifting in and out of a peaceful doze. His curious eyes would occasionally peek open, stealing glances at the elder. But it was the delicious waft of aromas—seafood mingled with other comforting breakfast scents—that stirred him fully awake. As the savory notes filled the air, a gentle warmth spread through his chest. He realized the elder must be cooking, a thought that made his heart swell with a quiet joy. In this new home, where there were no servants bustling about as in the castle he grew up in, it was clear the elder had taken the effort to prepare something special just for him. The gesture felt deeply personal, filling the younger with gratitude.
Smiling to himself, he rose to wash away the sleep lingering on his face. In the bathroom, he prepared a warm cloth to refresh his skin and followed it with a cool one to leave himself feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The unfamiliar layout of the mansion—smaller than the castle of his youth but still expansive—beckoned him to explore. He wandered the halls, nose tilted upward to follow the trail of breakfast scents, navigating the maze-like corridors with amused determination until he found the kitchen.
When he finally stepped inside, the sight of the elder working over the stove made his heart flutter. Quietly, he approached and, with a smile, slipped his arms gently around the elder’s waist, resting his chin lightly on the elder’s shoulder.
“Thank you for making breakfast,” he murmured softly, his voice full of warmth and appreciation.
@zelo ˢⁱʳᵉⁿ Jae was in the midst of cooking. He didn't have any butlers or maids like more of his other family did. He looked at the food that was somewhat finished and then continue to cook the food. Taking a breath, he looked at the plates that began getting fuller and packed with other breakfast items he worked on the fish. Knowing of what he was, he prepared some sea crustaceans for the younger. Letting the aroma fill his nose. He began setting them at the table.
@jaejoong The younger, nestled on the sofa and lost in a serene slumber, would occasionally let his little eyes flutter open, stealing quiet glances at the elder. Despite his pretense of deep sleep, he absorbed the elder’s words, letting them echo in his mind. He watched his elder companion and let his thoughts drift to the idea of children—dreams that made his cheeks flush with shades of pink. The tenderness of the thought warmed him, even as he coyly feigned the deepest of dreams.
@zelo ˢⁱʳᵉⁿ Jae sat in his study reading his books. Glasses fixated on his face. He looked at the other and sighed. "you had every opportunity to sleep in the bed, and yet you chose to stay on the couch" the elder spoke watching the sleeping youngling. He looked at the book to let him sleep. But it was decided to let the other rest while he get breakfast started.
