the market

below is the breeder market. you may pay the listed market price for your breeder to avoid other masters/mistresses contesting. in the event two masters/mistresses wish to buy out the same breeder, the individual who requested first will win.

otherwise, masters and mistresses may press their luck to see if they can land a breeder at a bargain by choosing to engage in a bidding war. the starting bid must be at least 100 pts. a master/mistress may put in bids on multiple breeders at once (up to as many open slots that they have) if they choose, but must be prepared to pay in the event that they win.

all purchases last a period of two weeks, after which the breeder will be returned to their house of origin. if you wish for more time with your breeder, an extension must be purchased from the shop in order to keep them from being returned to the market.

masters/mistresses may only own three breeders at one time. they are expected to meet basic needs (food/water & shelter) of the breeder while they are in their charge.
