frequently asked questions
What powers do Angels have?
Since powers aren't the main focus of this roleplay there aren't too many rules about them. Angels can have an array of abilities. Some examples include: summoning their own weapons, inducing sleep in others, manipulation of light and holy energy, telepathy, generation and control of fire, ability to give blessings, siren-like voice, etc. All Angels have the ability to fly. Outside of flight, you can give your Angel as many or as little abilities as you like! We're trying to keep this open, but please remember that if you give your Angel an ability with the potential to control the thoughts or actions of others you DO NOT god-mod the actions of another character without their mun's permission.
I'm not sure what to put as the reason for why my Angel is working at Cupid Central, are there any examples?
Alright, first things first! Within the hierarchy of Angelic Jobs, the work of a Cupid is considered quite low socially. It's not the lowest of the low, but a lot of Angels either a) actively dislike Humanity or b) simply view Humans as below them (though not always negatively - sometimes they just think of Humans as similar to bugs or pets), so having a job completely dedicated to Humanity isn't seen as something to want. However, that doesn't mean all Angels at Cupid Central don't want to be here, or that all of them hate humans; it's just a common atmosphere.
Now, with that out of the way, here are some common and not-so-common reasons for an Angel to be working at Cupid Central:
- A created Angel who was assigned as a Cupid since their first breath.
- An Angel from a higher station who was demoted and sent to Cupid Central.
- Although not as common, some Angels willingly ask to be sent to Cupid Central for work.
- If an Angel doesn't seem to be good at any other Angelic job, they may be sent to Cupid Central until they can either a) figure out what they're good at, or b) spend the rest of their Heavenly existence in Cupid Central.
- Most ascended Angels are sent to Cupid Central since they were previously Human already and may understand what needs to be done quicker than a created or forgiven Angel.
- Most forgiven Angels are sent to Cupid Central since most created Angels don't want to be around them (and some even hope that being forced to work here will cause them to fall again and get kicked out of Heaven).

What are the Heavenly weapons that field agent Cupids use?
The Heavenly weapons that Cupids use are weapons that do not have the ability to hurt others, but are instead used as vehicles for Cupids to "shoot" Humans and create or change their relationships. Instead of "Cupid's Arrow" these Angels have what are called Connection Bolts. Connection Bolts come in various shapes and sizes, including, but not limited to: arrows, bullets, darts, pellets, and various other projectiles. These Heavenly weapons and Connection Bolts combined alone are not enough though. They also require a bit of Angelic Powder (not to be referred to as "love dust" or "angel dust" unless you want a very stern talking to from a superior), which essentially powers the devices to actually work. Without it, the weapons and bolts are useless.

I'm not sure what kind of Angel I want my character to be, are there any examples?
Absolutely! Here are just a few, and if you're still unsure or just don't know if your idea is allowed, please speak with an admin.<3
• Previously a warrior Angel, now demoted to Cupid for accidentally shooting their superior during training. Hot-headed and Does Not Want to Be Here, will do anything in order to get out of this office hellscape and back into the battle squadrons.
• An uppity Cupid that maintains an iron fist over the entire office, has been here probably longer than you've been alive, doesn't actually believe in love but still intends to meet deadlines and keep the office running smoothly.
• An extremely powerful Angel - almost Archangel level !! - that for some reason decided to become a Cupid, being stripped of their treasured abilities and having to learn how to get used to tedious office life. Even without their powers though, they have maintained their awesome and terrifying true form (eyes, fire, wings and all).
