SNK Junior High

Zoë Ackerman the GOAT [A] 8 months ago
@Levi Ackerman Zoë pouted at Mr Sadies' leaving form. The teacher was notorious for using students in detention to do his work. Zoë herself should know this — she has been through it numerous times, from marking math papers in Mr Sadies' junior level classes to printing and stapling worksheets for him. Admittedly, cleaning the classrooms was not Mr Sadies' duty, but he currently must have had no menial task of his to allocate to the three.

Well! He didn't say how he wanted the classrooms to be cleaned. Zoë smacked her hand on the desk, turning to Erwin who was snacking on a granola bar, the crumbs falling to the ground. "Erwin, you're making a mess!" She gestured to the floor filled with crumbs, to which the blonde just sheepishly chuckled. She sighed and turned to the ravenhead. "Alright, Leevy, you wipe down the tables and chairs. Erwin will sweep the floor, and I'll wipe the windows. Start in whichever classroom you want. I don't care."

Nobody elected her as the leader, but Zoë didn't care. Her mind was already brewing with ideas on how to clean the windows. If she could, she would use a powerhose. But that might wreck the windows. Likely shatter the glass. Zoë hurried to the front to assess her supplies: a rag and a spray bottle filled with the cleaning solution. She took the rag and tied it to end of the metre long stick. "Aha!" She waved the stick to the two boys who had started cleaning, proudly showing off her invention.

She frowned when she didn't get the expressions she wanted but went to the windows anyway. Spraying the windows was easy. It was wiping them with the modified wiper that was difficult — the surface tied to the rag was too flat. She jabbed at the windows and back, nearly stabbing the Leevy kid when he walked behind her.

@Hange Zoë Part of the reason he spent so much time around Zoe was because he did, in fact have the biggest crush on her. He was young enough not to understand love completely, but his admiration for her and want to protect was pure even if he couldn't quite put it into works. Erwin cleared his throat and quickly straightened, taking the apple juice as a growing boy. "I think they just think since we spend so much time together that I must have a crush on you." He shrugged, pretending not to be alarmed. "I guess they just don't know that were neighbors." Their families were incredibly close as well.."

------------------------------------------------------------

"She's got a giant nose and a terrible personality." He told his goons, still in a pretty ty mood given the incidents of the lunch debacle that had taken place a couple hours ago. "It's about time for me to serve my detention, so... I guess I'll see you guys later." As it turned out Sadies gave his threats to call his father to be empty and they were. Mr. Sadies had indeed called his father, but the threats did not hold water. In fact, Dr. Ackerman told them to double the consequences on account of his selfish behavior and to do whatever it took to teach his insolent little son to be kind and courteous to his peers. And so, here he now was, sitting in some old classroom, staring at a smelly brunette and a dummy with eyebrows thicker than the Ton-e river. Two awkward low lives that, in his entitled eyes, acted more like castaways than model peers. Though, clearly the girl was at the top of their class.

Mr. Sadies stood at the front of the class, glaring at the three of them with his threatening gaze. "Alright you little punks. You all are going to clean the entire floor." His voice was serious and demanding. "2-A, 2-B, and 2-C... together. The quicker you all can achieve this, the sooner I'll release you." Levi's eyes shifted to thing one and thing two. No way was he going to clean with those two slobs. Zoe clearly still have sauce on her collar from lunch time and the big oaf snacked every five minutes. In fact, the rich kid was certain much of the mess on the second floor was from Erwin all on his own. "I'll be back in an hour to check on your progress." Mr. Sadies gathered his papers and made his way towards the door.

@Levi Ackerman "He called you a loser!" She turned to him before turning back to the line to grab her food. "Nobody hurts my friends and gets away with it. No matter how small they are." They sat at an empty table. She felt holes burn into her skull and sought out the source. Of course it was the new kid. He was surrounded by his minions again. Zoë scoffed and turned away. Eating her sandwich, she sighed dramatically. "Erwin!!!" She shook him. "My dreams are crushed! Robert Thom–" "pson's Illustrated Guide to Home Chemistry Experiments, yes Zoë, you mentioned it a loooooooot of times. You have been saving your pocket money, right?" The blonde giant daintily picked up his sandwich and ate it. Crumbs flew out as she explained that she had spent her savings on the newest weighing scale. It has a precision of up to 0.001g, very 'in'.

"Well, you shouldn't have fought them. No matter /what/ they said." He gave her a stern look, expecting her protests. "I appreciate you looking out for me, but you need not get into mindless trouble." He gave her his apple juice box as a token of appreciation. "Hmph. By the way, Erwin, what did they mean when they said we're dating?" Erwin blanched.

Zoë knocked on the detention room's door. She got distracted by a frog midway and was late. "Ah, Zoë. You're finally here." Mr Sadies sat at the front, cleaning supplies stacked near him. She hurried to where Erwin was, ignoring Leevy's stare.

@Hange Zoë “Why’s your first instinct to fight everyone, Zoe?” Erwin took ahold of the lunch tray, filing through the line in order to get some food.”The kid was obviously a spoiled brat.” He often found himself trailing behind her, but admittedly got himself involved at times. It was difficult not to when her fists were swinging. When he got home, his dad was gonna ground him for sure. Mr. Sadies was scary and Erwin wouldn’t dare to skip out like last time.

He glanced across the room at the Leevy guy, who was glaring at them even still. She was right to call him tiny. He was. “You’re suppose to be nicer to people that are smaller than you are.” The gentle giant patted the top of her head before heading to their normal table. Detention was certainly going to be interesting with the three of them there.

@Levi Ackerman Oh, he was good. At least he wasn't like the other kid, who fell with one erpunch from Zoë. She should be nicknamed One Punch Woman, the female counterpart to that anime she watched recently. Her thoughts were interrupted by the Leevy kid smacking her in the shoulder. She wrestled him to the ground.

Suddenly she was pulled off. Zoë looked back at her attacker. "M-mr Sadies!" She stood beside Erwin, holding his larger hand in hers and giving it a squeeze when he was rebuked. She glared Leevy who matched the glare with his own. "DETENTION?!!" Zoë parents had specifically warned her that if she had earned another detention this month, they would not buy her the book she wanted: Robert Thompson's Illustrated Guide to Home Chemistry Experiments. It was THE BOOK. Everything 12 years old Zoë Hange ever wanted. A book on setting up a home lab and performing experiments. None of that kiddy lab sets anymore.

It was perhaps not surprising that the tall brunette for into detentions often. She lived up to her name and was extremely spirited. It was only due to the reasons she received detentions being non-major that she didn't get suspended or expelled from the school. "Mr Sadies," she tried, doing her best version of puppy eyes. "How about you assign me and Erwin more homework? We don't have to jump automatically to detention~" Zoë clasped her hands together and gave a hopeful grin.

By her side, Erwin twitched. He'd rather get detention than do homework, bleh. She sneakily stretched her arm to pinch his waist. He jumped. "A-ah, yes. More homework!" He prayed to whatever deity up there that the opposite happened. The deity's name was Mr Sadies. "De-ten-tion." He pointed at each child as he spoke each syllable. "Off you go now. There's still time for lunch." He folded his arms and stared them down, challenging them to fight again.

Erwin bowed and pulled Zoë off to the cafeteria. Passing the new face, Zoë gave him her meanest scowl.

@Hange Zoë No one dared to mess with the tallest kid in class, they didn't care one bit if their beloved leader was in danger. The goons backed up slightly, leaving the spoiled little master to defend himself. Levi disliked the idea of getting his hands dirty, but judging by the fact that one of his minions was already on the ground, it appeared he had no choice. In all the chaos, feeling her tiny fists against the top of his head and his own fists bonking hers, the much shorter male had successfully ruined his first week of school. Why wasn't anyone coming to save him? He glanced over her shoulder to see the giant Himbo blocking his view. Oh, right.

"Alright, what seems to be the problem?" A teacher who'd overheard the commotion, pulled Zoe and Levi apart without much effort. They may have been swinging at each other, but Mr. Sadies felt their hits were nothing more that slaps and disses. To be expected of a rich boy and a science rat. The rest of the kids knew better than to stay there, they all scattered, leaving Erwin, Zoe, and Levi in their wake. "You, Erwin... Your father's gonna be quite displeased when he hears about this..." Erwin looked slightly disappointed. His father was probably busy assisting the high schoolers with exam prep this time of year. Sadies looked at the other two kids, who were still glaring at each other. "All three of you can spend the afternoon in detention, cleaning up the school~"

@Levi Ackerman Zoë frowned at the mean boy in front of her. Her parents had told her always be kind, even if the other person didn't seem like they deserved it. Erwin apparently agreed, seeing how his hand was placed on her shoulder. Probably to stop her from beating up the other kid. Who was this kid anyway? He was so tiny — must be their junior. She stared down her glasses at him. "Hey! I've already apologized for bumping into you." She ignored the fact that promptly after, she had for his height.

The comment on Erwin and herself dating went over her head. What even was dating? Calling her a loser was fine by her, but to go after her friend... Zoë's anger spiked. She let out a feral yell. Erwin's hand on her shoulder tightened. Zoë shrugged off his grasp and launched herself onto the first offender, throwing a right hook which landed on cheek. Zoë didn't even stop to see the minion fall before she turned to the new face, the leader, and threw hands.

"Zoë!" Erwin cried out, flustered, but did his best to grab her. Only that her wild fists stopped him from getting into range. Levi was putting up a fight, he could tell. Erwin spotted a couple wannabes trying to join in the fight to protect their boss, and he stepped in, using his gigantic body to block them from advancing. Thank god for his face and height; the wannabes hesitated. Erwin didn't want his beautiful face to be punched.

@Hange Zoë Levi was the epitome of a spoiled brat. The smug expression on his face was off-putting to most, but given his familial background, much of the other children felt that they had to be his friend. His father owned the most expensive electronics company in the world and around here at this public school, he was a celebrity. Normally such royalty didn't bother with the public school system. Of course, all of this information was important to keep in mind strictly for this moment.

"What the-" He'd hardly had the time to react before he was instantly thrown to the ground by some... smelly girl. Oh yes, Levi Ackerman of Ackerman group was 12 years old and he hated girls with a passion. "Why don't you watch where you're going you oaf!?" He was embarrassed to have allowed her to overpower him with just one clumsy shift, but probably more so because she was taller than he was. "Shut up!" He glared at the even taller oaf behind her, blushing now that she'd made mention of his height.

Erwin placed a hand on her shoulder in hopes to remind her that it was okay to have fun, but not okay to be mean. Even to a brat such as this one. "Don't worry Levi, Erwin and Zoe are dating or something." One of his little thug friends crossed his arms over his chest. "I wouldn't worry yourself with them... They're losers." Erwin was an excellent soccer player, but while he'd traded in a lot of that esteem to hang out with Zoe he still felt he was pretty cool. "Yeah... two losers." Levi the brat took ahold of that, pleased. "I can see it now. You both are made for eachother."

@Levi Ackerman "...and then the teacher placed the beaker over the flame, extinguishing it!" Zoë gestured wildly, her tiny arms waving all over. One even almost hit Erwin, if it weren't for his quick reflexes. "Zoë!" He grabbed her lanky arm and put it back down. "I was there too. You don't have to narrate the whole thing to me." He rolled his eyes. His dear friend can be so hyper at times. Scratch that– it was most of the times. 97.93%, really. He frowned when he caught himself. Eww, precision. Anyway.

He dragged Zoë by her arm towards the cafeteria, wanting to beat the crowd. Zoë yelped and stumbled along. "Erwi–" They crashed into a gang. Was it really a gang with that short guy at the from who was supposed to be the leader? "O-oh, sorry!" She had shoulder-checked said shorty, causing him to fall to the ground. One of the guys surrounding him immediately helped him up. The leader rose to his full height, which ended at Zoë's forehead. "Wow, you're really tiny. Must be why we didn't see you." She joked, drawing a snicker from Erwin.
