Minghao once again returns to the quiet lounge.
Wondering if maybe everyone is on vacation-
His eyes lingering down to his IPad once more, tapping it slowly before taking a seat upon an empty couch to continue his documentation.
He quietly glances around, deciding to lie down on the couch. Laying on his back as he shuts his eyes whilst bringing an arm to cover over his eyes and block the lighting.
He returns to the familiar lounge this time wearing his black scrubs and white coat that states his name and credentials.
Reading glasses sitting neatly upon his nose bridge as he takes a seat once more on the couch.
"Hm..."
"I am tired of it- but I have nothing else to discuss at the moment. Unless you'd like to open up your can of gossip, lovers etc." He replies while sinking back into the couch, his glare not faltering from his expression.
"Drop the dumb pet names or compliments..." he merely comments with his chin briefly tilted to gesture in Christian's direction.
"Anyway- whats on your actual agenda, weirdo."
Christian's lips turned into a smirk. Oh? He snorted. Didn't know he was picking a fight to begin with. "You're the only one here that wants to fight, pretty Ming..."
The nickname and reference of his ankle only had Minghao put the lockscreen on his IPad.
His brown irises following the males movements as his lips parted to speak.
"Picking a fight with me shouldn't be on your agenda..../sir/."
Minghao raised his gaze from his IPad, taking notice of Christian's entrance.
He stared in silence while he mentally debated whether to respond or not. Mainly because he is not in a good mood for socializing.
Instead- he chose to glare in silence.
Minghao decides to enter this lounge as he makes his way over to the couch and takes his usual spot.
His eyes focused on his work IPad while he reads through emails and documents silently.
Though his demeanor showing that he is exhausted, struggling to keep his eyes open.
Minghao continued to sip away at his green tea while his irises lingered to simply stare off in the opposite distance of Dacre's physique.
"Hm.." he didn't bother to budge nor pay any mind to the arrival food as he tapped lightly against his mug.
"I can appreciate a good taste in scents. I believe it speaks volumes about an individual. Your cologne choice is wonderful. Have you got a collection or...?" He tries to make simple discussion as he was merely passing time before he had to rush off to his designated duties.
"It is the same." Dacre retorted, a hand casually gesturing toward the chest in an almost dainty manner before his cell phone goes off. It's pulled from a shirt pocket. "Excuse me." He rises from his spot on the couch to fetch food and drink before returning. The provided tea is untouched while unpacking his own goods and drinking his expensive coffee. "I appreciate you can look at me in such fine detail, you know beauty."
Minghao takes a moment to realize that it is /indeed/ Memorial Day. Not that it would matter in his profession.
"Hm. I guess you've got a point but some of us have to work despite holidays. I guess thats a luxury on your part."
Minghao states rather casually, bringing the mug to his lips as he quietly takes a sip of the green tea he had gotten.
Though Dacre's posed question has Minghao silently eyeing the male as if to see what he means before speaking.
"Nope. Your eyes look dull and tired...I guess you smell decent though? What was the cologne choice for the day?"
"Work on memorial day?" There's disbelief on his features;"Nah. I work in corporate, we get the day off." the mention of his appearances earns a scoff. He might have been hungover, but Dacre was a perfectionist. He didn't so much as leave his own home without being primp, and proper. Blue eyes cast down at his attire then back up at Minghao;"Do my eyes not sparkle as much?"
His sharp words earn a whispered scoff from Minghao as he decides to leave the tea mug there and wanders off to settle down somewhere else nearby.
"Fair enough. You look like crap." His words aren't meant to be taken as rude but Minghao always spoke in a manner of directness so it could be misunderstood at times.
"I guess hopefully you get to relax today or not. Rest of us have began to work etc."
Dacre glances up at the male in confusion, and partial annoyance. "The audacity.." He begins, but he's croaky, and tired, so he doesn't follow through. "I have coffee and breakfast ordered, it'll be here in a bit." breathing is a touch labored, but the man looks no worse for wear.
"Are you finally awake..." he comments rather casually, entering the premises with two travel mugs in hand.
Walking over to the older male carefully as he sets the tea cup at the coffee table near Dacre.
"If you don't like tea...then I can drink both."
Finally avoiding the chaos, Minghao strolls over to a couch to settle himself on. Bringing his backpack to set down next to him, taking a moment to pull out his IPad once more so he can return back to scrolling through his emails. The abundance of noise was too much for him so he is pleased to be in a calm environment.
