      : A single career-driven woman who has been living in Maeul Apartments since the start of her career. Many of the tenants (or male tenants) know of Ms. Jieun because she is quite attractive. Most weekends tenants will see random men visiting Ms. Jieun and leaving in rotation—none staying too long into the weekdays but will revisit on the weekends once again. Her promiscuous activities can be heard at least one floor above and below the 9th floor.

      : A single father (Joongil) has lived in APT#3 with his 5-year-old daughter (Haeryeong) for the past 3 years. They moved into Maeul Apartments after Haeryeong’s mother passed from leukemia. Joongil works at a local gaming startup company, and Haeryeong attends a local kindergarten. Sometimes Joongil is called in early by his superiors to do a coffee run. On these particular mornings, early-risers of Maeul Apartments will more often than not be greeted outside gleefully by a 5-year-old girl waiting for grandma on the 3rd floor to walk with her to school.

      : This elderly couple has lived here for almost as long as Maeul Apartments has been accepting tenants. They’re one of the firsts to occupy the building and have seen many youngsters come and go. While the old man (Subin) has been sickly, his elderly wife (Taehee) tends to him diligently day-after-day with love. While also caring for her husband, Taehee also offers to walk Jung Haeryeong (from APT#3) to school when Mr. Jung (from APT#3) has to leave early for work. Ms. Jin Taehee is known by other tenants to be quite the sweetheart; meanwhile, her husband is kind but can be short-tempered due to his declining health.
