@Shorty Ackerman Hange frowned and slid the lollipop back into her pocket. Did the boy just refer to Mia as a "rat"? No, he must've called her a "brat". Either way, Mia was a pleasant little girl! Hange gave a short pat on her daughter's head before enveloping the latter's tiny hand in her much larger palm. "Mommy says despite the dirty lenses, she is still able to see through them," Mia's thin, high-pitched voice piped up from beside her mother, her huge eyes shining brightly behind clear, fingerprint-less lenses. Hange let out an embarrassed titter. "I keep forgetting to wipe the lenses. That's all." She took off her glasses and carelessly wiped the grime off using the edge of her top.

"There! Less murky now, little... man." Eyes squinted, the woman assessed the stranger critically. So it was true. Disregard his height, and he could be in around her age. Hange eyed him from top to bottom — she wasn't a fashionista, but was that crocs with socks??? Even she knew that was considered a felony. She shrugged and glanced at her child. "My home's far from here. If you want to eat now, there's always fast food." Her arm shook wildly, as Mia danced in her spot.

"You're fine with that, right, Mr...?" "Liva! His name is Mr. Liva!" "Liva, then. I'm Hange." Not waiting for his response, Hange walked away with her daughter in hand. He was a weird and demanding one. Who asked someone to make them a meal like that? Even if he had no money... it sounded like he was expecting her to cook for him. And what was that out-of-the-blue phrase about praising the gods? Hange pursed her lips in thought. "Did he do or say anything weird to you, Mia?" She whispered down, only to sigh in relief upon a shake of her daughter's head.

---

With Mia in tow, Hange slammed down the tray of food onto the table, causing the drinks to slosh off their tops. "Whoops!" She seeped up the liquid with some napkins. "There're burgers and chicken; take your pick. So, what are you doing here, Liva?" She was already unwrapping a burger to ravish it. Mia had her own kiddy meal in front of her.

@Hange Ackerman the GOAT .... Little boy? Levi looked very unimpressed with her. Here he was on his first day in exile and he'd already been insulted. "Your rat-" He thought briefly before continuing, remembering that this 'thing' was supposed to be the source of his punishment and, consequently, the source of his supposed new romance. "Are those glasses of yours murky or somethin'?" His words were harsh and were spoken like a true demi-god.

If the full blooded gods in heaven would've sneered at the way he considered himself above even lowly humans, but none of them would do so to his face. He was the grandson of Zeus and the son of Kratos. None would dare to do such a thing. "I mean-" He cleared his throat, looking at the little girl with glasses hanging over her nose just like her moms. The two of them were identical.

"Yeah... sure, you're welcome... whatever." Levi crossed his arms over his chest, his expression remaining flat despite his clearly felt annoyance. "-- but I can assure you I'm not a boy." Calliope had mentioned that male human's were typically of this height.... perhaps she'd purposely told him wrong. He frowned once again at her mischievous nature. Levi was not his true name and though he looked very much the same in his true, ascended form, there were some key differences.

"I'm... I was..." He was awful at being human and even more so at hitting on them. Never in his life was impressing others a concern of his. Being the son of Kratos, most nymphs, goddesses and gods alike threw themselves at him, at least to some degree. "I'm honestly a bit hungry. How about you prepare me a meal?" Not knowing the customs of humans, the normalcy of special treatment was clearly shining through. "Gods be praised, something with meat in it."

@Shorty Ackerman "Mia! Mia, where are you?!" Hange called oud, her unkempt high ponytail whipping her cheeks as she turned her head frantically. She had just took her eyes off Mia for one second. Okay, so it was more like ten minutes. But she had specifically instructed her daughter to stay put!

The bespectacled woman's attention had been grabbed by the bookstore, where she had roamed searching for that one elusive text to complete her collection. Her daughter had agreed to stay on the coin-operated ride right outside of the bookstore
Yet, after ten minutes of mumblings to herself, suspicious glances from other patrons of the store, and a final "HURRAH!" followed by multiple glares at her person, Hange had shuffled out of the store, only to be shocked at the empty ride.

"MIA! MIIIAAAA!!!" The little girl in the black-and-white striped hoodie was nowhere to be found. Hange had taken off running while cursing her genes. She had confidence in her daughter to keep safe — Mia was intelligent for her age, but she was also overly curious. Hange should have known the four-year-old would wander off after the ride was finished.

"Mom!" A familiar high-pitched shriek made Hange stop abruptly, her unkempt hair even messier. The bag of book slammed against her thigh as motion came to a halt. She turned to the source and, spectacles slanting down one side of her face, stared at the tiny girl in the arms of an equally tiny man. A man who looked like he was ready to murder. "Mia!" Hange dashed towards them. She hurriedly readjusted her spectacles by the lens, adding yet another fingerprint onto the already muddled plastic.

She grabbed her daughter from the teen's arms. "Thank you, little boy! Thanks very much! I—" She placed her daughter down to search her pockets. "I don't have any toys– here! Have this lollipop!" Hange took the stick candy out with a triumphant smile, brandishing it to the male. "It's but a small gratitude for taking care of my daughter!"
