@⟢ william cho James noticed when the other was awake but still was pretty tired, he brushed his fingers inside his soft hair. “You might need to think about that, sleeping beauty.” He was teasing his best friend, still looking in the files, he let William rest a little more. Giving him some extra minutes before he was stroking his cheek gently. “Come on, we have a lot of work to do, can you do that, Willy?” His voice was tender with him even when he needed his help, there were too many files and suspects and he needed his partner’s opinions and thoughts as well.

@⟢ james lee Uncertain if fifteen minutes has passed, William awakened. It feels like he has been sleeping for a long time but James haven't awakened him yet which means there's still a few minutes left. Before dozing off he heard what the other whispered to him, "repay you with what?" He muttered quietly, legs sliding down onto the floor where he position himself in between James' legs while his arms wrapped tightly around the other's waist, face buried in his stomach still, inhaling the intoxicating scent. William is awake now albeit drowsy. He's comfortable and doesn't feel like moving anytime soon.

@⟢ william cho James just let his friend lead the way, already knowing that when they would be alone William probably would try to get some needed sleep. After all, they need to work on that case for a long time. He was smiling softly when his friend rested his head over him, his fingers slowly d his hair, very softly. “What am I going to do with you?” He said with a small smile.

“Sleep, Willy… but you get to repay me somehow for that.” He whispered into his ear, seeing his friend falling asleep so easily closer to him, it wasn’t any surprise as they were pretty close. He was taking one file in his hand, studying the case. It was about a murderer, an innocent looking girl was dead in the pool. It looked terrible, he started to read all the details. Figuring it wasn’t the first case and something similar happened two days ago.

@⟢ james lee William poked his head inside the library, half lidded eyes scanning through to ensure it is completely vacant. When the coast is clear, he leads them into a small section, away from the entrance, where there's a couch and a small square coffee table in the center. James is seated down and William splat half of his body, face down, onto his friend's lap.

"Here's the plan; you study for us while I nap,. Fifteen minutes." His voice almost inaudible as he drift off to sleep, lulled by the faint scent of James' cologne , face comfortably nestled against his stomach.

@⟢ william cho James was smiling softly when his friend closed his eyes. He was a really handsome guy and he was staring at him for a second. He almost pinched his cheek and told him to sleep more but the voice of their boss made him straight up and change his look to a more official one.

“We get to work~” He ruffled his friend’s soft hair before fixing it and following him to their boss's office.

His eyes were looking at his boss with curiosity, he liked to do stakeout. Loving complicated cases very much. Trying to keep a serious face when his friend said he had a stomach ache when he was probably just drinking and didn’t feel like sleeping last night.

James was sitting on his own seat, looking at his so tired friend. “Stomach ache, ah?” He said and chuckled. “Sure, let's go to dr. library.” He raised his eyebrow before leading the way to the library, leaning William against him gently, letting him rest even when he should work with him.

@⟢ james lee While James put his tie on for him, Will keep his eyes shut close, slowly lulled to sleep. But once the tie is donned, his eyes fluttered open and the collar is tidied up to properly cover the ink decorating his neck, "I know, I know," a sigh heaves, lips pursed as gaze trails the other towards the coffee machine, letting him get his usual black coffee although it won't keep the drowsiness at bay.

"Cho, Lee, my office," the chief called out firmly when he arrived and disappear into his office. Last night they were briefed on the The Axe gang but the case was given to their colleagues.

"Oh boy," Will uttered, too lethargic for work but nonetheless, slips on his coat that was left on his chair, and the cup of coffee left to cool on his desk.

As both inspectors takes a seat, an A4 sized brown envelope is handed, which is taken by Will then passed to James so he could read it through first, "Kim and Lee are reassigned to another case," the chief speaks while sipping on a steamy mug of coffee, a frown of judgement casted on Will who is fighting to keep his eyes wide open, "I want you to do a stakeout tonight. Everything's in there."

Without the need for verbal inquiry, Will explained, "had a stomach ache last night. Couldn't sleep," with hand rubbing the stomach in a circular motion.

"Do you need to see the doctor?"

"No I just need a good rest."

The chief then dismissed the inspectors. Will settle down on his seat, forehead presses down on the wooden desk in hope to catch a wink of sleep. His arms secured over his head. If only he could tolerate light noises, he would already be in dreamland - the soft clacking of keyboards, the light chattering and the occasional ringing of telephones keeps him wide awake.

"James," Will stand up and motion with his head, "let's go to the library so we can study the case in peace," he actually just wanted to nap, and makes sure his voice is audible to nearby colleagues in case anyone is looking for them.

@⟢ william cho James entered the office, it was nice having a good partner while investigating things, and luckily for him his best friend was his partner. Even when William could act really silly sometimes he trusted him with his entire heart he would do a great job with him. Looking at him he looked way too tired. his tie wasn’t tied up, he on the other hand was wearing his uniform very trim and organized. His best friend was so goofy so he had to be the mature one sometimes to keep doing a good job together.

He chuckled lightly when his friend came closer, smiling back at him as it was impossible to keep a serious face with him. “Why do you look like such a mess?” He asked him and raised an eyebrow, tying the tie for him. He looked at him with big eyes when the other said he didn’t sleep fast last night. “Oh Willy you really should sleep well, it’s not healthy.” He said with some concern, brushing his fingers against his hands.

Something about his friend made him stay closer, he looked into his eyes before rolling his eyes. Going to the coffee machine. “So the usual?” James made him the coffee how he liked to drink it without waiting for an answer, handing it over to him while making a coffee for himself, after all he was a bit tired as well but just because it was morning. Sipping from his own glass he looked at his friend, ruffling his hair before fixing his hair. “Here, now you look better, darling.” He chuckled at him softly, now focusing on his drink.

@⟢ james lee William is having a hard time keeping his eyes opened this morning. Nobody but himself to blame for binge watching a series, in which at first he promised himself that he would only watch one episode per night. That one episode led to another and before senses could knock at his conscience, he had completed the show in one night, leaving him with only three hours of sleep till his morning shift.

A navvy blue tie hangs around the cranky man's neck as he entered the precint, navigating through half lidded eyes. Somehow today, Will can't seems to put on his tie. Luckily there's his partner and long time good friend, James who can tie it for him. The other is seated just behind Will's desk and could be seen booting his computer up. Crankiness aside, lips curving into a smile at the sight of good old friend, lighting up the sleep deprived visage.

"Put this on for me, darling," Will casually said as he lean against James' desk, hand extending the tie over. Their colleagues, including the chief are aware that they go way back hence their closesness are no surprise, "I should have called you to sleepover last night so you could force me to go to bed early. I can barely keep my eyes open," his eyes fluttered close as he speak.
