@Ren Minhyuk nodded his head. "Okay." He said with a smile. He was a little happy inside knowing that he would be able to try and make it up to the other, he knew that it would be a little difficult to do, but he was willing to build his friendship back with the other.
@Minhyuk Anything he wanted? Well... Ren supposed he coudl have Minhyuk stick by his side till he said so... Carry his books to and from class, do his homework... Walk him back to his dorm after class. it would be his excuse to have him nearby and close to him so they could try and reestablish their friendship. "Be my assistant. Carry my books, eat lunch with me. Those types of things," he demanded, crossing his arms and tilting his head to the side.
@Ren Minhyuk nodded his head as he knew exactly what Ren was talking about. He then looked up at him once he heard what Ren had said. "To get you to forgive me.." He paused and looked down. He was trying to think of the best answer that he could think of, he didn't want to say anything that wouldn't be any good. Once nothing in particular had come to mind he looked back up towards Ren. "Anything you want." He said biting the inside of his cheek.
@Minhyuk Ren's arms crossed over his chest. "Best friends would have stayed in touch. Sorry is just a word," he said, not easy to forgive so easily. However, he hoped Minhyuk wasn't too put off. He was a tough shell to crack, as he probably already knew, but there was also a place for him to redeem himself. If he was willing to carry on and follow Ren, then maybe they could regain their friendship. "It's been four years. How are you going to make it up to me?" he asked him, quirking his eyebrow while his foot tapped. He was waiting for an answer, it would decipher where they were going to go from here.
@Ren Minhyuk pouted. He had never liked to make anyone upset and it was something that he couldn't avoid. "I know." Minhyuk paused, "And I read them all... I just..." He then moved out of the way of the other and looked at him with a sad look. "No." Minhyuk said a little quieter than planned to. "You were my best friend." He answered looking at the ground. He didn't know how to make the situation any better. The only thing that he could think of was to make up a lie, but he had discarded that thought. "I'm sorry." He said giving a small smile and then a sad look again.
@Minhyuk "Mhmm," Ren mumbled, still refusing to look at Minhyuk. He dipped his toes into the water, letting the coolness float over his skin and keep his flaming rage at bay. Getting angry won't solve anything he treid to convince himself but he couldn't bring himself to soothe his bubbling anger. Standing up abruptly. "I sent you emails. I was busy, too. Guess you were so busy you just forgot about your friend, huh?" he asked him, scooping up his shoes and pushing past Minhyuk. Once he got a few feet away he stopped, coming round to face off with him again. "Did I mean that little to you?!"
@Ren Minhyuk stared at the guy for a minute trying to figure out who he was. Min... Min? He had thought to himself. After recognizing the other Minhyuk had mentally face palmed himself. "Ren." He said as he remembered. He instantly looked down towards his hands not knowing what he had been talking about for a second then looking back up. "Oh! I'm sorry." Minhyuk gave a sincere apology hoping that the other would accept it, though in the back of his mind he was thinking that he wouldn't. "I had gotten busy for a while after you left." He tried to explain himself to the other. Minhyuk knew from his childhood that Ren had been a very difficult person to talk to at the beginning.
@Minhyuk The more the boy approached, the more Ren got the feeling that he knew him. In fact, as he got to be only three feet in front of him he immediately recognized him. Minhyuk. The friend from his childhood. The one he'd grown up with, that he had gone to primary school with him and that he had parted ways with during middle school... He had honestly though he'd never hear from him again as they'd lost touch when he'd gone abroad. What had happened to writing to each other every day? he thought with a mental sneer. "Yes. You do," he answered bluntly, having no time to mess around. "You haven't changed at all Min," he said, turning his head away abruptly and staring out at the water. "I see your hands aren't broken. Guess it was too hard for you to send an e-mail or call on the phone."
@Ren Minhyuk had jumped at the sudden abrupt noise, he wasn't really used to random yelling that much. He then looked towards the boy who had yelled at him, tilting his head at the boy and pointed toward the water. "Uhm.." He said kind of awkwardly. "Messing with the water." He stated. He wasn't sure whether he was allowed to be there or not. He then looked at the other again and studied his face carefully. 'He looks really familiar' Minhyuk had thought to himself. Maybe he was just someone that he met before, he has talked to a lot of people before and never seen them before again, though this face just seemed a little to rememberable. "Do I know you?" Minhyuk asked pointing at the boy.
@Minhyuk Ren had been idly sitting, occasionally daring to poke his bare toes into the water. It was calm, a stark contrast to the things brewing inside of him. At least it was nice. He closed his eyes, tilting his head backwards and taking in the few rays of sun that shone down through the foliage. Hmm... Maybe there was something good that this academy could offer. He quite enjoyed this spot. He was ready to fall into the peaceful harmony of nature when he heard some noise off in the distance. What could it be? He felt grumpy just thinking that someone had come and disrupted the peace he'd been searching for since he'd moved into his dorm. Snapping his eyes open his head swiveled to look at the intruder. "Hey!" he bellowed, his voice sharp. "What the hell are you doing?" he asked, no kindness in his voice as he addressed the stranger. He couldn't quite see who it was from the distance he was at, but it was easy to discern that it was a boy... Hmm... He just hoped he wouldn't be some annoying boy.
@Ren Minhyuk had a long day of just running errands and he just wanted to rest. He had began wondering the streets, not exactly sure as to where he was going. He ended up around an familiar spot he continued walking in the direction that he was going and ended up at the river, he nodded his head as he remembered the area, it had just been a while since he had last been here. He then looked around, and saw another person sitting down by the water. He walked closer to the water trying to ignore the other person and began putting his hand in the water.
@Minhyuk Ren had finally managed to find his way out of the dorm room, his suitcases not unpacked yet but he brushed that off. He had only been here two hours, but he was already fed up. There were so many places he could be other than here. He wanted to go out and explore places, have fun, do what he wanted... Not stay cooped up in this academy, being forced to attend classes and being boggled down by homework. Nope, it was not the ideal life he was wanted. He sighed, sitting down on the edge of the river with his head in his hands. Well, he was stuck here now... So the best he could do would be to go with it. This was better than his last academy at least... He'd been pulled out because he had been incessantly harassed about looking so feminine. Well, he'd show them. There was no more Mr. Nice Guy... No kindness was left in his body.
