@Kris He bristled at the other laughing at him, wondering why he had to be so tall. Their height difference made it hard for Ren to be intimidating. Clearly that was obvious with the way the other didn't seem to take him seriously.
He crossed his arms over his chest, regarding the other. "Who says I want to repay you?" he asked, cheeks still aflame.
@Ren Kris grinned at the boy like an idiot. He didn't let any of the words enter his heart, when he noticed the flushed look on the males ace. He looked so innocent yet to demanding. Like, it was all for show.
He couldn't help but chuckle at the male. "Well, if that's how you're going to repay your saviour?'
@Kris Not one book had marked Ren like he had expected it. When he glanced through the veil of hair that had flown over his eyes he wasn't sure whether to be angry or not. Everything that he was was saying to yell at his saviour, demanding to know why he had intruded when he had had things under control. He was leaning against the book case so nonchalantly, looking a bit pained and like he needed assistance, but the only thing that flew out of Ren's mouth was unkind words. "Did I ask you to do that?" he snapped, frowning and crossing his arms, his anger boosting up a notch so he could hide the flushed cheeks on his face and his embarrassment at being so short.
Kris quickly covered the boy, not allowing a single book hit him. Kris felt pain rush to his back as all the hard covered books hit him instead. Knowing that he was protecting the other, he felt fine doing what he did. When the books finally stopped, he stood up, and leaned against the shelf, not trying to show that he was in pain. "Are you alright?" He asked through gritted teeth. He helped the male up on his feet.
@Kris Being startled by the boy and the fact that someone was actually being kind to him (what with his attitude and all) Ren ended up hitting the books with the side of his wrist. The shelf below the one he'd been reaching to ended up seeking some sort of sick revenge on him, sending a waterfall of books to cascade around him. It almost seemed like he was moving in slow motion, the books coming slowly down towards him, his arms trying to come up but he feared he may not make it in time. Well, a string of curse words would be leaving his mouth if the books fell onto him and bruised his fair skin.
@Ren Kris was sitting in the corner of the library when he noticed a certain blond trying to reach for a book. But with his height, he would be lucky to have even reached up to that level. Kris chuckled as he got up from his seat, and made his way to the said male. He brushed up against him and pulled out the book. "There you go mister." He chuckled as he made eye contact.
@Kris Ren had decided to drop down at the library on his way to his dorm after classes. There were a few books he needed to take out for his homework assignments (not that he'd do them right away, but it'd be nice to nab the books before anyone else could) and get a few books that he could read during his leisure. At least there was air conditioning in this building, alongside a quiet area for him not to be bothered by anyone. He quite enjoyed the library... Something he wasn't prepared to admit to anyone just yet. Strolling through the aisles, one book already tucked under his arm, Ren skimmed his fingers over the bindings. A particular title caught his eye, and he paused to look at them only to have his eyes wander and land on something more interesting on the top shelf. Damn it. These were the times when he wished he were taller. Grunting quietly he reached up on his toes, fingers outstretched and trying to reach the book. "Come on..." he muttered, eyebrows furrowing.
