@Suho God, that smile is ing annoying.

Jongdae hums out loudly, face carefully blank as the boy answers his question, and he tilts his head to the side to assess him. He looks pretty shaken up, he can tell. Then again, who isn't, in his great presence? "Well that's a stupid answer," he shoots out in reply, scoffing lightly soon afterwards. "How do you ever expect to get on with your life if you can't make proper and sound decisions? How are you even still alive?" Jongdae feels the annoyance bubble up in his chest, and the need to push this guy over the edge sky rockets. "I'm Kim Jongdae," he answers, quirking a brow down at the other male. "The great Kim Jongdae. You can call me Lord Jongdae," he grins mockingly, and leans down slightly. "Or are you indecisive about that too?"

Even through the haze of everything, Jongdae knows the difference between being his usual perfect self and being a . Right now, he knows that he's probably being the latter, because even though he is flawless, not everything can ing work on miracles. And right now, facing the face of the other male, he feels all the accumulation of doubt and anger and annoyance and even more anger (and maybe a slight tinge of grief) built up over the whole scenario with the crazies running around outside threatening to spill over, and the only way he wants to let it out is to just shove it all down this er's throat, all the while asking him to worship his feet because this is all just so ing ridiculous.

(Before he decided he was perfect, Jongdae has always been an angry child.)

"You know," he continues, grin still in place as he pulls the novel away from what's-his-face, dropping it onto the floor carelessly. He knows how annoying it gets for some people when the page they had been reading gets forgotten (he noticed the finger slipped in between the pages). "As of now, I won't even bother remembering your name. It doesn't even have the right to stay inside my superior memory." He pokes a single finger to the boy's forehead and pushes lightly. "So unless you do something that will make me remember your name, you will forever stay nameless and insignificant to me, no matter how many times you shove your name in my face. Because I will refuse to remember."

@Chen Joonmyeon had hardly been three chapters in and he could already tell exactly how the book would end. Forbidden love meaning that the two couldn't be together and knew they would have to face the consequences of being together albeit they end up together near the end and everyone lives happily ever after. It's a bit too mushy for his taste Joonmyeon but he decides that he likes it. There's nothing wrong with a little happiness and really, that's what he wants for himself now.

It's hard to be the positive one when in a situation like this, being trapped in a house with eleven other men he didn't know - except for one actually - while hiding from people who have gone crazy. He still remembers the first day it started, his own family turning against him and the desire to slit his through and do much worse to the rest of his body was plastered on their faces, a dirty and wicked smirk portraying their horrid intentions. He closes the book for a moment and shuts his eyes tightly as he holds back tears that are threatening to fall. Quickly shaking his head he forces the thoughts to the back of his mind and set down the book, knowing that nothing could really distract him enough to forget things easily anymore. It's nearing midnight and he can feel it, his eyes drooping slightly and his body beginning to ache when it's in any other position but laying down. He wants to sleep but he knows there's too much on his mind to do so. He looks over at the pile of novels and decides to start reading a mystery in attempt to get his mind to ponder over that, rather then the fact that the world is ending.

It wasn't long until heard a small 'Hey' and it startled him, greatly actually, his eyes widening and letting out an embarrassed squeak as he looked over to the source of the sound. He curses softly to himself for looking so easily shaken as a light blush dusts across his cheeks, although he knows he really is. When the other gestured to his books he looked up at him and shrugged, closing his book but kept his finger in to mark his place. "Although it's mostly with books I'm a bit indecisive with a good amount of choices actually.." he sighs and looks at him again. He realizes he's seen this man a only a couple times during the short amount of time he had spent here, and already how he talked gave him the feel that this guy was full of himself. Just the way he gave him that judgmental stare was enough for him. "Joonmyeon," he replies with a slight smile, wanting to get on this man's good side. "And yours?" he tilted his head a bit, his usual friendly smile taking it's place as he let his feet down off of the couch, his socks being a bit childish since they had Crong all over them.

( it-- i'm ending it here. ugh. )

@Suho Jongdae stifles a yawn as he pushes open the door of his room, taking a step outside into the hall. He lets the door close softly behind him, and he runs a hand through his hair, mussing it sleepily (it will still look flawless, so he doesn't bother much). He stretches, feeling the pop in his joints and sighs in satisfaction soon after, relaxing his previously tense shoulders. The beds here are ; nothing like the soft, large king-sized one he used to have back home. He can practically feel the cheap fabric of the mattress digging into his skin, threatening to swallow him whole with its ty quality.

It's irritating.

With another sigh, this one more weary, Jongdae shuffles off into the hallway, searching for anything that might be able to amuse him this night. Maybe the small library he saw (he searched every single room in the house beforehand, needed to make sure where things are--he's just flawless that way) at the edge of the hall will be able to amuse him. Jongdae's always been good at reading, and even though he's been a perfectly intelligent boy since birth, he has to admit that reading helped a lot. With that in mind, he heads for the library, face blank as he pushes the door open, not expecting anyone to be in the room.

And then he blinks, because his thought is contradicted with the presence of another person, sitting on a couch with a pile of books at his feet. He quirks a curious brow, and with a small shrug, decides to approach the boy. Looks like he found a bookworm. "Hey," Jongdae calls out, hands shoved into the pockets of his sleeping shorts as he eyes the sitting boy with a judging eye. "Are you always this indecisive about things or is it just with books?" he asks, gesturing to the pile of books. Honestly, indecision is such a weak trait (although when it's coming from him, it's okay). "What's your name?" he shoots out, head tilted to the side. "Or are you indecisive about that too?" he adds, testing the waters.

Not enough sleep has always made him just a little more cranky.

@Chen The boy was never the type to stay in one place. It just feels strange to him and he just can't help but roam around, and maybe end up in some place better than before. After leaving his room which was basically vacant, he wandered the almost too narrow hallways until he found himself opening another door, his eyes widening and his mouth forming a small 'o' at the sight of a library. A soft smile displays itself on his lips as he slipped into the room yet didn't bother to shut the door, his only intention being to find a great book and hopefully drown out reality for a good amount of time until he was too sleepy to keep his eyes open. He walked along the bookcases which were filled with less or more than maybe a thousand books, his slender fingers tracing along the spines of them as his eyes raked over the several titles. It took him a while to find a good /one/ book because in the end, he ended up carrying a dozen books back with him as he found a comfortable couch to read in.

Randomly picking one from the pile he pulled his feet up into the seat, his eyes reading through the first few words before quickly setting it aside to pick up another. Angst; Something he didn't need at the moment. The second one he picked up happened to be a romance novel and it probably wasn't any better, but he began to read it anyways ignoring that empty feeling inside of his chest. He snuggled further into the corner of the couch with a pillow being squished in his lap, his baggy pajamas making him feel extra cozy as he enjoyed the book. Reading had always been his escape from his problems and he has no desire to change that. Even if he is enjoying his quiet time he almost wishes he had someone there next to him to share it with.
