He wasn’t sad nor was he mad. He was in one word, ‘excited’. His heart pounded with every cry for help and his mind raced with all the different ways to cause her immense pain like she did to him so very long ago. “Don’t move.” He said in a tone that sounded final. Moving over to his bag his pulled out a large butcher’s knife. His eyes glistening as he revered it with awe. Glancing back to the girl he laughed as she shirked back in fear. “Y-You’re a monster!” She cried. Acting as if it hurt him he placed his free hand over his heart, another laugh making its way past his lips. “You think I don’t know that already?” He said in a sarcastic tone. He enjoyed it, feeling her fear.
Putting the pad of his pointer finger to the tip of the blade he smiled to her, almost genuinely. His eyes never left hers as blood began to drip down his hand. Moving back to the girl, he sat on his knees in front of her, knife in hand. “Look, I-I’m sorry.” She uttered as her eyes darted around the room for a way out. With an amused face, he put his bloodied finger to her lips. “No, don’t be sorry. It was my fault anyways.” In one swift motion he kissed her, drowning out her screams as he embedded the knife deep into her heart.

Zhou Mi clamored through the crowded hallways of his dreadful high school, his ears filled with the whispers of taunting chants of the other students. Things like ‘Eww, It’s the freak.’ And ‘He should just die already.’ Zhou Mi had lived his life with a constant humiliation. The scars would never fade. He felt as though he were dying inside. As though every word they said was filled with acid that seeped into his soul.
“Heh..What soul?” He thought to aloud, an eerie grin claiming his lips. He swiftly passed by the sea of the ‘normal’ ones, his eyes scanning the group for his next victim. Soon he found her, a girl he had once loved. A girl he had once cherished. She was wearing a tighter version of the school’s uniform, her s looking as if they would explode. ‘What a wonderful thought.’ He chuckled cheerily as he approached her.
“What do /you/ want?” She scoffed as he got closer. Not a word left Zhou Mi’s lips. He only smiled, his fingers wrapping around the girl’s wrist as he dragged her away. Her friends and the others around the two only watched as she cried out to them. They knew better. He would show her that in the end no one cared for her or for anyone but themselves. Sliding open the door to a dimly lit and abandoned class room he pushed her forward, her body slumping as it fell to the ground. He began walking forward, the closer he got the further the girl backed away. There was no escape. Crouching down, he looked at her, examining her fear stricken face with one void of emotion.
