@Kevin Woo *Letting the backpack hit the ground with a soft thump next to the log, I let go of the strap and set myself down rubbing my ears still worried that they may be bleeding. "Yeah, it is kind of heavy," I sighed letting my right hand down to sit in my lap while the left kept checking the corresponding ear.

"Are you hungry?" I ask after a few minutes of quiet watching the light dance with the shadows. "I have a little bit of food if you'd like something while we wait," I say gesturing in the general direction of my backpack.

@Sunggyu At the other's yelling, Kevin looked down and waved an "I'm okay" hand before shimmying down from the tree, agile as any monkey. "Well, that was loud," he remarked conversationally, rubbing his ears lightly. "Pretty sure every troll, fairy, orc, and leprechaun in this place heard us. If not them, then anyone else who came in here. Not really safe to travel alone, I'd think."

Looking rather self-satisfied, he plopped down on a handy mossy log and leaned against a broad tree trunk. "I'm sure the humans would be along eventually. All we have to do is wait. You should relax too, that pack's got to be heavy." Kevin patted a spot next to him on the green-covered log and smiled charmingly. "We can rest happy. Mostly happy."

@Candy Sugar Kitten Sungjong looks down on him and nods.

"yeah. his name is "brownie". smug. "oh i'm minho"

extends my hand side ways to him. he almost have the same name sound like my master only differs in enunciation. stops and looks up. if the sound is from up there by the way the birds reacted flying side ways instead of scattered when it's done on the ground, then that person must be very lithe in form to be able to climb that high.

i waited for some movements from above as we should be near that entity so i stopped in my tracks trying to gauge the source of the sound. looking up, the canopy of trees, barely letting the sun in blanketing the surrounding from the strong glare of sunlight.

"let's see. . ... must be around here somewhere."

"He is my Hyung we are in the same group"

"Yes for him and my umma Kevin" He said not really thinking that he would know my umma anyway.

He decided to follow after the man even though he thought the man was a little weird, but so was he and his hyungs so it was not something to out of the ordinary for him to be around. "Hey you never told me your name."

He was thinking when he asked the man his name again how was he suppose to follow a man who one he didn't know their name and two he was acting out some weird comic book that Sungjong had never read before.

"did you just name your walking stick?" shaking his head he walked beside the man so he would feel a little safer with someone close by.

@Candy Sugar Kitten Sungjong "uhmmm. .. yeah. . " nods.

"he's my master. .. . so you looking for him too?"

returns the bar back in my bag as he said he has eaten already. great. now walking in the woods would not be that lonely.

but with the recent noise, i think even the moles down under would be coming out to gnaw on that someone who made it.

"i think we better find whoever made that sound or else he or she will wake the dead alive with that thing."

whistles while a walk with my walking stick poking on things i find interesting in the forest. i sometimes use it to open paths for us to thread. i think i'll call this "brownie". since it's brown and kinda sturdy to be considered as a staff.

"wonder twins power, ACTIVATE!"

playing with it like the wonder twins in a comic book that i'm reading.

@Kevin Woo Glad that I had thought to cover my ears, I wait for the sound to fade away and while the ringing continued I checked to make sure my ears weren't bleeding.

Craning my head upwards I looked to where I thought Kevin had climbed and yelled with hands cupped so I could hear what I was saying. "I bet whoever might be in the forest heard that!" I bellowed with my face half smiling and half cringing. I wondered at the effort I had to put into my voice to hear what I was saying past the fuzzy haze that seemed to quiet the world. "I hope we don't have to blow it a second time," I add hopefully.

@Incubus Meanhoe He jump upon hearing the name of the mans master. "Sunggyu hyung is your master? I am also looking for him here." He replies excitedly to be with someone who is looking for the same person.

Shakes his head" No thank you I had something before you arrived."

So my name is Sungjong what is yours? He ask the stranger now sitting on the rock by him.

"YAH!" He yells while covering his ears at the sound of the high pitched whistle.

"I think that was there goal" Sungjung said laughing at the mans out burst to whoever blew the whistle.

@Candy Sugar Kitten Sungjong "my master is the one named "SUNGGYU". he recently acquired me so here i am, doing my duty."

cleared a stone from forest debris using my hand then sat on it. rummaging through my backpack searching for some granola bars. i'm almost hungry but just in case i won't find time to eat later at least i'm not going to get weak on the knees if there's need for me to exert some muscles.

"want some? i have enough."

i offered the boy, tearing the wrapper with my teeth biting on it. looks at the river for some spot where i could swim and not get dragged by the current to darn knows where.

"THE F* IS THAT!"

covers my ears when i heard some godawful whistle.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING GETTING ALL THE CREATURES DEAF!"

i shouted on top of my lungs. it can only be a human form who's doing all that damage. covered my eyes as a flock of birds flew away in fright.

@Sunggyu "Sweet~" Kevin's eyes sparkled with all manner of mischief and glee as he pulled out the small silver whistle from beneath his shirt. "I haven't had the chance to use this yet, so... here goes nothing." Noting that Sunggyu had covered his ears, though, the blond blinked a little before sighing a little. "On second thought, I'm gonna get up higher first... Spare your ears, like."

So he did, and soon he was nestled in the fork of the tree he'd fallen out of not too long before, eyes searching the forest for any sign of life. None met his gaze, though, and Kevin raised the whistle to his lips, taking a deep breath before blowing the whistle as hard as he could.

Sungjong crossed his arms and huffed at the man currently laughing at his expense.

"I will have you know I am looking for my Umma and my hyung, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere." He said sighing mentally in annoyance at not being able to find them earlier.

"My umma said he was going to be here and the last time I couldn't find my hyung he was here." He was about to ask the man his name when he remembered something he had said previously.

"Wait you are looking for your master?" He looks at the man with a raised eyebrow wondering how he had become someones slave.

"who is your master?" He decided to ask though not expecting to really know who his master is, but thinking there might be a faint chance that it was his umma seeing as he liked to collect people as slave. Though he never did anything with them as far as Sungjong knew.

@Candy Sugar Kitten Sungjong i laughed my off seeing how crazy surprised he was. as i wipe my tears from laughing so hard i clap his back.

"man you are awesome."

i laughed some more trying to calm my fits to assure him nothing is wrong in the world. i gasped for air and chuckled.

"you should have seen your face."

shakes my head holding the stitch on my side from laughing so hard. i breathed deeply as i might be offending him now.

"sorry man. it's just so funny. but anyways, i'm here to look for my master. he have gotten a sudden calling on going for a walk in the forest. you. what are you doing here?"

i asked wondering about that myself since i've seen first hand how frightened he was.

He jump up startled at the loud noise behind him whipping around to see what had caused it. "Yah!" he yelled upon seeing someone behind him. " Don't do that you scared me!" Sungjong said trying to calm his rapidly beating heart from the scare he just received.

"What are you doing in these woods?" he ask glaring slightly still a little upset about the scare, but also thinking he needs to try and get along with this the man seeing as he was the first person he had come across since entering the forest.

@Kevin Woo *Wondering briefly about the babies comment, I quickly dismiss it as none of my business.

Looking around quickly I responded, "I suppose we can give the whistle a try," I say holding my hands at the ready to cover my ears and thinking back to the books I had brought with me detailing all sorts of imaginary creatures who served as the catalyst for this odd crusade. "Let's just hoe they're friendly," I add covering my ears completely.*

i heard that call again and this time it's just a couple of feet away give and take. but the dude seems oblivious to my noise. alright, i guess the river is camouflaging my ruckus but still. one's senses should be sharpened in places such a these. i decided to give him some fright. not too much just enough to startle him. this is gonna be fun.

i think it's time for the naughty minho to step in. creeping from under the bushes, i quietly dodge away from his line of vision. slowly i closed the distance between him and me. he's kinda looking frightened judging from how fidgety he looks. i stifled a laughter and then. .. .


"BOOYAH!"

i shouted on top of my voice as i jump a few feet in front of him.

Sungjong sits up a little straighter at the sound of someone yelling.
"Hello" He yells back glad to hear someone else's voice in the immense forest. Though he hoped they were a friendly person he did not want to be stranded alone with someone with hostile intent. He was a guy, but there was only so much he could do to defend himself.

"Hello" he yells again waiting to hear their reply. He stands up and moves around a little hoping to catch sight of someone in the brush, but it is to thick for him to see through. So he decides to stand still and wait for the person to find him.

They have to be close he told himself waiting for the person to arrive he could hear some movement in the brush near him so he prepares for whatever is about to come out into the open. "...w..who is there?" He asked tentatively.

@Sunggyu "Library, huh? Didn't know we had one of those. I'll have to check it out later." Kevin sighed, then yawned, shaking his head a little bit more. "I guess... I wouldn't mind going along with you, I'd probably get lost here if I kept running around all by myself. I just hope my babies don't decide to come looking for me too. That would be a bit of a disaster."

Another yawn, then his face brightened up. "But hey, the more the merrier, right? Might as well try looking for other people in here. I got a whistle, maybe that could draw them here. What do you think?"

hmmm. . ..

listens to ripples not a few feet away. observes the soil from under my feet and it looks wet. a spring maybe. or a river if it's making all that rocket. not that i need water since i've an ample supply in my backpack but rainforest is quite humid and i can even feel my sweating already. i've decided to take a few dips before i pursue my rescue mission of sort.

i'm quite sure my master is in no imminent danger if so, i'm screwed. but i'm screwed anyway so to swim it is. marches of towards the rippling water sound.

oh look, seems like someone's here. judging from the voice i'm hearing.

"JEOGIYO!"

i shouted. i just hope he'll reply back so i could follow his voice. i wonder if it's the same one who i heard earlier? shrugs. i just hope it's not hostile. i'm not up to break someone's neck.

"JEOGI!"

Finally arriving at the stream glad he had finally made it, as his stomach had been protesting the lack of food. Pulling off the backpack that he had been smart enough to bring with him. He pulls out the lunch he had made for when he got hungry a simple sandwich and some rice balls. He finishes his meager meal and decides to stay by the river for a bit longer to see if anyone else wondered this way.

Deciding to give the yelling one more shot before resting his feet. He yells out again "Kevin, Sunggyu....ANYBODY!" Upon hearing no reply and tired from all the walking he sits down again and rest against a tree near the water waiting to see if anyone found him before starting his journey again.

@Kevin Woo "I suppose that makes some sense, but it seems a little strange that you didn't tell anyone you were heading off to the forest. Though I wouldn't mind some company if you had a wish to venture along with me," I say noting the odd look which reminds me of when Sungjong is up to something.

I continue cautiously, weighing my words, and trying my best not to offend this 'Kevin' character. "But yes," I say returning from chasing the figurative rabbit trails,"I am on a 'quest' of sorts, though calling it grand would be a stretch. I was exploring the library when I came across a few books. Boredom got the upper hand as I had already spent a great amount of time in there, and I decided to come out and wander."

@Sunggyu The blond gave his hair one last shake before grinning mischievously at the other male. "Sunggyu, is it? Well, at least you came prepared, if that pack on your back's any indication. Me, I just wandered around here, didn't even tell my boyfriend I was here, left a note on the fridge for my babies to read, and... yeah, here I am."

Kevin took a moment to rub more moss off his shoes before continuing on. "I was up in the tree 'cause I almost fell into the pit myself. Figured I might as well keep a lookout for anyone else who came by. Guess it worked, didn't it?" A cheeky smile and a sweeping bow finished off the delicate-looking male's explanation, and he shoved his hands in his pockets. "So... on a grand quest, are you? Mind if I come with?"

trampling on the forest floor, it was said that animals tends to avoid noises as much as they could but noises tends to attract bigger wild beasts. with the looks of the place, i would most likely attract a bear so those trees would come in handy if ever.

wait, is that another voice? seems like there's someone else is here. times like these i wish i've brought some spirits rods with me. you know just for the heck of it. i saw some thin sticks on the forest floor. oh, wait. darn it's a worm. hey, something must be rotting in here. better stay away from that. picks a random twig then and points it somewhere.

"come on ... .point me to where my master is .. . "

that way seems like it. that poor man running off the path like that. that kind of stunt is dangerous. let me think. .. . . oh, a fern....

"follow, not to follow. .. . follow. . .. not to follow. .. "

aish, this is boring. i think i need a walking stick. just something to poke things with. just i case, the ground is not stable enough under my feet. it would warn me before i harm myself.

Wondering further towards the sound of the stream. Sungjong thought about why he was here.
Oh yes he remembered he had been bored and lonely so he had set off to find his umma or his hyung upon finding nether of them he had set off to the last place he had saw his hyung in hopes that one or both might be here.

Seeing as he remembered something vaguely being mentioned by umma that he was going for a walk somewhere and something about tress. So he assumed that he meant the forest. Though having not found either of them he was beginning to doubt it. "Kevin umma Sunggyu hyung" he yelled again pausing in his movements for a reply from either of them hoping he would hear something anything at this point that meant he wasn't alone in the woods by himself with no one to help him if he was hurt or got lost. because lets face it he was scared.

@Kevin Woo "Thank you for warning me about the pit," I say with a smile gesturing with my hands in the direction of the accused pit, hoping that my earlier shriek had been missed. "It is good to meet you Kevin, my name is Sunggyu. The reason I wandered in here is actually kind of silly," I stop briefly looking a little abashed," I got bored in the library, and now I'm here," I continue murmuring something quickly and quietly before making my own inquiries, "How about you, and why were you in that tree?"

@Sunggyu Still busy picking bits and pieces of Spanish moss out of his hair and clothes, Kevin couldn't answer the mysterious person standing in front of him until the itchier parts were out of his clothing. "Ehhhh... sorry if I scared you, I didn't want you to fall into the pit behind me. It's a trap, see?"

For how serious the topic of near mangling and possible death was, the blond was still rather conversational and friendly about the whole thing. "So. I'm Kevin. What's your name, and what're you doing in here?"

Enters the mouth of the forest cautiously. if there ever is such a thing but what the heck. an adventure is still an adventure even if it means slimy snakes and darn knows what else. i hears a distant voice of a man? boy maybe?

observes the location of the moss on the trees and takes notes of it. mosses always grow where carbon dioxide are most found. and carbon dioxide means air breathing creatures like humans. and humans means population. population that connotes to town.

one has to take this things in consideration when going through a walk in the wild side. there seems to be a path. that's a good one too. it means that this has been threaded upon by thinking creatures. might as well. i'll just follow where the voices leads me.

"KAKAO. . ." (KAO. . . .KAO. .. .KAO. . .)

takes note of the echo as it will lead me to the location of the nearest big body of matter. seems to me that my master is walking in here somewhere. i wonder if he's lost?
