@Myungsoo Despite the smile that graced Myungsoo's lips, Sunggyu didn't feel very reassured as they closed the short distance remaining between themselves and the dreaded witch's house. The crazy old abomination had already done so much to harm their kind without even knowing them. She condemned an entire race of people, of families and children who hadn't harmed a living soul... That was what the werewolf hated the most about all this. The innocent suffered because of the cruel few.
"As ready as I'll ever be..." He muttered grimly, rounded golden eyes scanning the front porch of the rickety house. Slowly, he began to climb the steps, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end as the wood creaked beneath his boots.
@Sunggyu Myungsoo was quietly trailing behind the said man, and kept his coat secure around him. Taking in the warmth, he looked up the path of snow and saw the small house in the distance. He took a deep breath before letting it out. He would always think about why they would send the wolves to the Witch house when at times, it's just a old lady who is a crazy maniac. Almost reaching the house, he heard the other male ask him something. Myungsoo turned towards him and blankly stared at him, before sending a small smile.
"Well that thing is here most of the time...but I don't know about today," Myungsoo shrugged as he looked at the house again, with the flickering lights. He absolutely hated the place, since the smell from house was just awful and he couldn't bear it at times. But continuing on his path up the small slope, they were almost at the front porch. He looked at Sunggyu one more time, "You ready?" Myungsoo asked quietly and cautiously.
@Myungsoo Trudging through the snow, Sunggyu hugged his jacket tighter around himself and longed for his warm coat of fur that kept him oh so toasty in wolf form. The world was covered in a blanket of white and the eternal darkness only made it feel more frigid, chilling the werewolf down to his very bones. It was times like these when all he wanted to do was curl up in bed and forget about everything, about the war raging... But he had duties to his pack and responsibility was something Sunggyu never ran away from. If there was one thing in this forsaken place that held true, it was that you were stronger as a group and Sunggyu was determined to protect the pack.
Thankfully he wasn't alone in that regard. In the distance, Sunggyu could barely make out the flickering lights on the path leading up to the witch's house and his heart skipped a nervous beat. No one had seen the witch since she'd cursed them all and it was anyone's guess if she was still alive even, but seeing the house still made the werewolf anxious. Unfortunately, it was one of their many stops during the patrol and he had to it up. At least he didn't have to do it alone.
"Do... you think the witch is still there?" He asked in a hushed voice, finally turning to his stoic companion. Though the beta seemed cold when they first met, Sunggyu quickly learned that there was so much more to Myungsoo.
