Lake

Taemin the ridiculous child of a fae was once again out exploring without the guidance of an adult, his own parents killed while out. The oblivious fourteen year old fae assumed his parents were only going on a trip and had yet to return. He was given invitation to reside with the Fae-head to stay with the man but has yet to reach said place. Taking the opportunity before they return or before he is under reign of the tall frog-eyed male, Taemin wanted to explore more and wandered where he heard sounds of a large amount of water splashing. He wanted to play in the clear blue body. It looked so inviting despite the sharp rocks that surrounded it.

The fae found himself by the side as he had no skills of swimming, splashing the water upon itself and making ridiculous amount or ripples by tossing rocks into the lake. He giggled watching circles of waves attack each other then morph to one.

After a while, he noticed how inviting the water was to him. He stared at it for the longest time as it seduced him more into entering it. Taemin crawled down the rocks skillfully and eagerly to reach the entertaining water.

He giggled when he lowered his feet close to the water surface. Despite not yet touching the liquid, he could feel the coolness of the calm water radiating, making him shiver and tingle with delight, luring him that much more.

Unable to predict what happened next, he slipped and fell of the mold-covered rocks into the body of blue below with a scream.

Water came in everywhere, his vision only allowed him glimpses of land. He flailed, yelled, screamed for help. However, he was alone. Who would save the little imp of mischief? Trying to grab hold of anything, anything to help him from drowning as water entered his nose, leaving a sting as it entered his cavity. Water, entering his mouth, making him swallow his own screams and pleads. His tears of fear mixing with that of the water so he couldn't tell whether it was the water or his own tears that he was choking on

Minho stared out over the lake, sun burning down on his already tanned bare torso having taken off his shirt minutes before. A few faint scars -only visible in the bright sunlight- could be seen, a reminder of being a tamer. The healing pool had healed his wounds, though the faint scars were all the remained of the more nastier wounds. The ever cautious tamer dangled his bare feet in the water, throwing caution to the wind and not having any of his supplies with him, at the moment not quite caring that a beast could approach. Perhaps it was a..slump of sorts. He didn't know and would deny it if anyone said so.

It was peaceful here...quiet and it allowed the beast tamer to think, which was something he desperately needed to do. He brought one leg up to rest his arm on his knee, his right hand playing with the woven bracelet on his left wrist. He knew...as much as he wished he didn't, he knew his first love had fallen for someone. The beast tamer wasn't quite sure who it was, but it didn't stop the pain. He closed his eyes, tilting his head downwards, mumbling a silent prayer to his parents to give him strength to do what is right.

As he opened his eyes, he had to squeeze them shut a moment after, for just the mere thought of giving up on the certain fae who had his heart. Still, he refused for the tears to fall, because Choi Minho does not cry. After a few shaky breaths, the best tamer opened his eyes and slipped into the cool water going to where the water was nearly to his chest.

For now, he decided, just for now he'll let himself be free of such sad thoughts, though the main person in them would always be on his mind. However, even as he decided to let his sad thoughts go, he couldn't help but wonder if he should just let go.
