WELCOME to aegis. this is it. this is your story. it all begins here.taking place on an large island nation named aegis for protection, it is run by it's leaders. please note aegis is a facebook roleplay that runs on ocs whose faceclaims are idols and people of all nationalities. The only thing is, it's part fantasy ridden. That's right, not only is this an oc roleplay it's also placed in an alternate universe. characters can be a variety of species from humans to faeries to vampires to halflings, so on and so forth. So create you character, plot out your life, find love, find wealth, find happiness and make friends and enemies as you do so. interested? then check out the rules and how to join to the right
rules
001: activity is not negotiable. if you're just going to watch from the sidelines please don't bother - someone may want your face claim. so that being said please be active. active on walls, in pms, on groups. this is your story, you need to write it, live it. not just watch others. (But you can do that on the side too. I do...)
002: you are limited to having up to three (3) characters per soul, person, however you want to put it. and when doing so you must inform the admins,
003: You are allowed to go on a hiatus/semi-hiatus for a period of one month. If needed,
004: If you are leaving, please inform the admins. It's okay to leave without a valid reason but just let us know.
005: If you somehow get s'checked please make a new account or unlock your account in 72 hours (3 days), and informing the admins.
006: Large scale activity checks and smaller 'task' checks will be held on a random schedule. If you miss a single activity check you are out. If you fail to complete 2 task checks, you're out. A 'task' check will take place a whole week so there's plenty of time.
007: don't face chase -
008: drama! Let's get this clear - ic drama is allowed and encouragd since plotting. please do note to plot with the person it's affecting, etc. (done ooc.) ic drama is good for character development and to help our roleplay lives. I mean a roleplay is like a giant multi-tiered story, so let's make a story, okay? that being said - [password: current ear gasm.] ooc drama is not allowed. it causes nothing good to happen. at all. sometimes it even brings roleplays crumbling down.
You can ask for advice from the head admin though, i'm always here for you. but if things get out of hand, admins will step in and if it gets worse and/or continues we will kick people out. understood?
009: please note we are semi-literate. what do i mean? i mean that we allow all povs. we allow para and action roleplaying, just please leave the emoticons in ooc and don't "txt talk" while roleplaying. okay?
010: Relationships! same- relationships are allowed but please - please for someone's sake - realize that there are straight people as well, yes? in terms of a dating ban, it's three days - enough for you to get there and talk to people. the reason why it's so short? your story may require you to be in an arranged marriage. so this would be a reason for a "relationship". Understood? good. just don't abuse it.
011: Please note that there will be some triggering plots such as, but not entirely including nor excluding: bullying, pregnancy, abortion, major illnesses, disabilities, comas, etc. but let me note, if you're going to do one of these please give the admins a heads up with a little note like "this is why." the reason being is because this obviously affects your character but it may also affect those around you as well.
012: all will be done in the room or in private messages. i refuse and will not allow nor tolerate it to be done on the walls or in non- groups.
013: all ooc talk should be done in brackets and be kept to a minimum (when doing a plot). you are free to talk in the ooc group, okay? and once again - no ooc drama.
014: this a closed roleplay - meaning do not add anyone outside of the roleplay!
015: this rule is law - no godmodding.

◈ First thing's first. please subscribe to this story. upvoting is not necessary but it's appreciated and loved. Besides, it does help us out if we get one. Just saying.
◈ Next, please check the masterlist to see who is available and who is taken. If you're really feeling generous perhaps even check out the wsihlist as well?
◈ Then apply using one of these forms. if you are human you will be using [this] application and if you are not you will use [this] application. if you are applying as a 'creature' you may not strictly be a god this is so 'godmodding' doesn't happen.
◈ after you complete the application, please comment here saying "Name of faceclaim" seeks to be a part of aegis.
◈ once accepted you may create, or re-use, an account. please change your alternate name to 'AEGIS'. Please note that if your name is in hangul or kanji/katakana/hiragana, etc. that you must put your character's name in the alternative name as well. I ask that you try to refrain from using those characters thoug so it's easier on the admins to tag you. thank you. (Also, i will not accept any silly names.)
