WHAT HAPPENS IN SEOUL roleplay.
RULES TO FOLLOW
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY.
1. You must favorite the roleplay - but clicking upvote is always optional, though it would be lovely and thoughtful of you.
2. The theme of the roleplay is "city-style". You can make it what you want it. We hope to see creative characters. You can be anyone you want to be - assassins, fast food employees, teachers, professors, firefighters, gamblers, casino owners/workers, fitness trainers, gang members, ( please don't make everyone a model/student - come up with something else because let’s be real – being a student isn’t consider a job, you can have side jobs, summer jobs, online jobs – something creative guys ), librarian, underground rapper, cable man, repairman, air pilots - anything you put your mind to or that works with your muse, do it! Marriage plots are allowed, 'baby mama drama' plots where you have a kid, but the partner is messing around or just not around - is allowed. You can make your character disable, sick ( ill or mentally ) - it's all up to you. We don't allow supernatural roleplaying here, sorry to disappoint. Or man pregnancy. This takes place in modern times, and we want this to be as realistic as possible. Your characters can believe in myths, however - and maybe even study it, be scientists, detectives, officers – but we ask that you still be realistic.
3. This roleplay is purely au & dual pov. So you're not idols here and you can write in any pov. We do not accept one liners. AURPS do not build from one liners, in my opinion. This roleplay is for ages 17/18+, due to mature content. You have been warned in advance. In order to avoid banning issues, we ask that your profile picture is fitting as well. No . At all. If your character is below 18, we strictly forbid you from engaging into anything ual related. Your character shouldn’t be lower than 16, nor should you be involving them in . If we see this, we will not hesitate to warn you, and if it continues – take action.
4. Always inform the admin when going on hiatus or leaving. When you reserve, you will have four days to apply. Hiatuses are important. So please do not take them just because. Please do not join the roleplay just to go on hiatus, unless you have LEGIT reasons. But if I know how you are when it comes to joining, going on hiatus or leaving one day later, I will confirm with you in the comment you post, that you do not plan to do that here.
5. If you're inactive for ten days, you'll get one warning. If it happens again, and you haven't responded to the three day warning you got, you'll be kicked out. But you can always apply for your character again ( but that's only once; if you're inactive again, we ask that you apply for a different character just to be fair ) - hiatus - three times in a month; it'll change depending on if you make it excessive, or the reasoning. Please don't join just to go on hiatus RIGHT AWAY; unless you have a legit reason, I repeat this. We admins understand, but to be on hiatus using the “I’m sick and busy with school” but you’re active and joining ten other roleplays, don’t look good on your part.
6. Three characters are allowed - but we encourage you to play at least one of the three from the opposite . You have to wait a week before applying for another character. You have to have at least 150 points for your first character. And yes, getting two characters will get those points taken away. If you want your third character, that will be 300. We ask that you be active in rooms, instead of just on walls - since points are a big thing to help us conduct our activity checks.
7. There's no being biased here. We ask that you roleplay with everyone. Don't complain in the ooc room about no-one wanting to /not/ rp with you when there's plenty of people online or new members joining. Look around, ask around, and don’t wait until the end of the world for someone to ask you. Some people don't see your "want to rp" post ooc, so hit up their wall! The admins will always offer to roleplay, but please do not depend on us or just one person. Roleplays are made for people to get out of their comfort zone. And as much as we want to roleplay with you all, admins do have a duty to attend to. . Don't join if you're not going to roleplay, I can’t stress that enough. The goal is to get out of your comfort zone and have fun. Don’t be afraid to post on others walls; or don’t be afraid to talk to people in any of the rooms. If you see someone post something in general, why not try to interact with them? We don’t want you to feel alone at all, that’s why we stress this. Admins can only do so much – when we’re not around, we don’t want you to go mute. We want you to continue talking freely with others.
8. Want to know what's important. Writing styles. No emojis, no text talk, no "crack" rping will go on. You're allowed to do that and more in the spam room, or the out of character. But do not randomly post starters on walls, use emoticons, or not use brackets when it comes to plotting. We ask that you all plot. We ask that you all plot with not just "one gender" but both genders. Do not post in every room saying “v-card stolen” because this is AU, and not nonau.
9. No disrespecting others, being rude to the admins - or ooc drama. We're big adults, aren't we? No stealing profiles/layouts made by others/bg stories. I wouldn't make this a rule if it wasn't important. We allow internationals as well. With that being said, no racism or offensive slurs need to be used here, please. No use of the “N-Word” either, that’s distasteful. We’re trying to keep this place friendly, and not make others uncomfortable. We ask that you treat everyone with respect.
10. , yuri, pregnancies ( no m-pregs ) violence, drama, angst, foreign idols and are all allowed. Pretty much anything you can think of is allowed. Make sure the person you're roleplaying with is alright with it. /yuri is limited; please think about the straights in the roleplay. We ask that you have your profile up with the basics "about your character, age, uality, your time zone, and things you do/don't do.” So people can know about the basic of your character.
11. Do not stick to just roleplaying with the opposite , and then complain that no-one wants to roleplay with you. Socialize, talk to everyone – do not face-chase because you will be warned. STRICTLY NO OOC DRAMA. I AM SERIOUS. YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT OF THE ROLEPLAY AND BANNED. WE’RE FAMILY FRIENDLY, AND IF YOU BRING THAT OOC DRAMA HERE, YOU WLL NOT BE HERE. It’s as simple as that. If you have any problems with anyone, message the main admin. No, you cannot kill off your character. Relationships are allowed, but let's not get together on the first day! Take some time. The dating ban is set for two weeks. If you see couples here already, they’re from the old roleplay, and have moved to this roleplay and have been approved. And just because your uality is straight, gay, lesbian, or biual – that does not mean you can’t roleplay with the opposite gender. We’re not asking you to get together. This is a big problem in lots of rps, and I don’t want that vibe here.
