humans
Normals that make up 50% of the human population, that have either not undergone genetic enhancements or were not born to enhanced parents. Not part of the underground. Occasionally, a few humans are in fact recessive ABOs that may awaken over time.
Alphas
The first class of advanced humans: the first product of experiments, hence the code alpha. Alphas have superhuman ability in most primal instincts. Their senses, athleticism and recovery abilities are the highest of all three classes, and they are superb fighters. However, this also makes them much more primal in terms of behaviour. Alphas are generally deemed to be rash, dangerous creatures ruled by instinct. They can be, but are rarely in positions of high power. Alphas experience ruts when triggered by omegas or once every season. They are able to be bonded to be omegas, and more rarely, betas. They are encouraged to be bonded to prevent from going Feral- an event when the primal side overwhelms the humane aspect.
betas
The second class to emerge, and the one widely considered to be the most perfect. Betas have enhanced senses and abilities, but not to the point of Alphas. However, their intellect and logistical prowess are immense, making them the perfect choice for most positions of high command. Betas are also considered neutralizers, as they can utilize their pheromones to temporarily force Alphas and Omegas to a halt. Betas are touted to lack emotional capacity, and though this has not been studied in length, they are generally kept away from interpersonal or true leadership roles. Betas are affected by the mating season though not to the extent of other classes, and their bodies adjust according to personal preferences. p w is a five sentence intro to your character.
Omegas
Omegas, unlike the other classes, evolved naturally as a response to an Alpha's shortcomings and dangers of becoming feral. Omegas are sensitive creatures, capable of producing pheromones that can calm an Alpha and guide them towards sanity. Their emotional capacity is high, to the point of near telepathy, and are flexible creatures well suited for leadership or social roles. However, they often suffer from mental and emotional instability as a result of their high sensitivity, which usually requires the constant presence of the other classes to stabilize. In addition, Omegas have the weakest physiques, despite being superior to regular humans. Omegas experience heat as triggered by alphas or every season.
