first and foremost, you must favorite the rp and have your account be at least one month old (we will be checking atthe door)! though we greatly appreciate upvotes, it's optional (except when getting a new character). no faceclaims/muses that are under the age of 20.

it is required you collect 50 points within the first 48 hours upon joining (same applies to every new alt as this is to prevent character hogging).

5 characters per head: 1st & 2nd = free, 3rd = ad blog, 4th = upvote & 1000 points on all first three characters, 5th = 4,000 combined on all pre-existing alts. you may have multiple faces from groups consisting of 6+ members. password is to rephrase rules #6 & #7 in your own words (as these are important rules),  and the safeword.

unconsented ic and ooc drama, bubble roleplaying, character hogging, and bashing/bullying is prohibited. in the case of genuinely triggering conversation, our safe word is " :crossed_arms: ".

there is a dating ban of two weeks with the exemption of move-in couples (kindly state this in your application). all mature content must be kept to the confines of appropriate rooms, walls and pms.

the ugly inactive sign pops up after seven days of no activity where you'll then receive a warning; failure to respond within 48 hours will get you promptly removed from the rp. failure to remain active after two inactive strikes/warnings will also result in a removal plus a 72 hour lock on your character that will become available to the public.

any and all conflict should be tended to privately between involved parties. you may summon an admin to assist only if there's a struggle in resolution (note: have receipts of the issue and conversation on hand).

too busy to be active? a semi hiatus = 1 week, while a full hiatus = 2 weeks. all possible extensions shall be reserved until after the original duration has ended. if you plan on leaving, pm an admin!

lastly, maple street abides by a three strike system in regards to rule breaks. after a third warning you will be removed and banned from the rp. please direct all inquiries to your local admin's pms.
