That's right folks, you read that right. After two years of being on hiatus from group activites, Sapphire Entertainment has finally announced girl group Goddess' comeback. For those who may not remember or know, Goddess is the first group that debuted under Sapphire Ent. They gained much attention for the fact that three of the members, KyM, Mimi and Victoria were the daughters of the CEO and co-founder, Victor and Christina Lee who were famous as soloists before the formation of the company. Also for the fact that the youngest member was only 13 when Goddess debuted.

Now there had been talk and rumors for a few months about the groups possible disbandment. Even before they had gone on hiatus after the release of their summer single, PARTY, two years ago, all of the members had branched into solo activites. Sapphire had chosen to stay quiet about things however, neither denying nor confirming anything. A earlier this week however, CEO Victor Lee held a press conference to discuss the future of thr group. "It's been a while, but I've decided to bring Goddess out of their hiatus. They will be perfoming at our company's annual showcase." Netizens went crazy at the news for this would be the first time in two years that the group would bve performing together as a group. They were in for a surprise as the announcement at a new lineup, most having mixed reactions. "Goddess will be returning as a seven member group. Out of all our female trainees, Christina and I, along with the trainers picked five trainees to join two original Goddess members for the lineup." After much research and another offiacl statement made by the company, the new official lineup for Goddess has been confirmed to include HyeSung and Ru, both part of the original lineup. HyeSung is said to be keeping her role as Main Dancer but will also be taking the role as the new leader, replacing KyM. Ru will also be keeping her role as Lead Vocalist thoguh she will no longer be the maknae.
With those being the only two original members, the remaining five members have been revealed. Very little is known about them, more information is said to be revealed after the showcase. The trianees joining them are Alex, who is said to be the younger cosin of former member and actress Les, twins Min and MJ, as well as Yera and Ting, with Alex as the new maknae. When asked about the showcase, Victor responded, "All members are preparing hard for the showcase, as well as everyone else performing. There will also be a fashion show after which will be an after party. You're all invited of course."
