New Event - Winter Solstice!
On December 1st we’ll be starting our Winter Solstice event! The event will include a gift giving room, Naughty or Nice dice game room, and a few other rooms to rp in so we hope you’ll join in on the fun!
New Race
Ivory of the Mist proudly presents another new race: Merfolk! Merfolk will reside in The Forgotten Islands. Mermaid-types such as Selkies and Sirens are included in the Merfolk category, but there’s plenty of other merfolk tales out there so if you have any questions, please feel free to direct them to an admin! :)

CC-ing a Character (reminder)
As many of us have hit walls when it comes to muses and are looking to revamp characters/create new ones, we’d like to remind everyone that there is a charge of 150 points for character changes.
PLEASE NOTE:

A CC is considered to be the change of ONLY a face claim. This means your character’s race AND slave status remains the same, and you retain your character’s (remaining) points.

You can still request new characters at any time in the RP comments (up to the six-character limit).

Dropping a character in order to request a new one does NOT count as a CC, and requires that your new character roll in Central Post to determine their slave status.

CCs are still unlimited, so you just need to ensure you have the correct amount of points before a CC can be completed.

If you would like to CC a character that you have to a merfolk , we are allowing one free CC for this race since it is brand new! :)
Slave Auction Poll
As the holidays roll around, we know that many people become busier which tends to end up with characters going on hiatuses or becoming inactive. While we 100% understand that this can be a very busy time of the year for many people, we also want to do our best to keep the activities going! That being said, we’d like to hear from YOU regarding another Slave Auction! We are thinking of either including an auction with the Winter Solstice event, or we would hold off until January (when we are looking to hold our next Battle of the Races event). Please let us know in the comments which you would prefer!
