Good morning/evening, everyone!
I just wanted to make an announcement to welcome and thank you guys for joining Beneath the Lights. For a while, we put this on the back burner due to personal issues as well as not really vibing much with rpr after our last public rp, but we decided to give it another shot with high hopes that we could create a place where people would like to join to relax, make friends, and indulge in some fun that the real world doesn't quite offer. So, we hope that you'll enjoy it here and make some lovely friends along the way.
On Sunday, 09.01.2024. (at 5pm CST), we are going to start hosting a little welcome party that will likely last for a week so everyone will have the chance to interact/participate. We will play games, possibly have a few movie nights, and just enjoy rping together. I know that timezones are wonky, but I do hope that everyone will be able to attend at least one of the games/movies. We don't want to leave anyone out!
We do have some fun little games under the Entertainment tab, which is also the casino part of the rp! You're able to play and earn points~ We have Roulette, BlackJack, and the Jackpot! Feel free to start checking those out and earning some points! Hwa was super excited to add those and to help anyone who might not understand how it works. The gift shop also has some nice little gifts for your character to purchase for friends or partners. We wanted to make this place as interactive as we could and to encourage roleplaying ^^
Last thing: We have been featured! I wasn't expecting to be featured (at least not so soon), but I'm thankful that our little place has received some recognition. So, thank you for helping make that happen. - Now, please comment below a movie idea for an upcoming movie night along with the character who would like to try to participate in said movie night <3
