Issues

These are some of the issues that we have seen around the rp, and have been brought to our attention by our members, so please make sure to read through each one to ensure we’re all on the same page!

Know the Difference Between IC and OOC

We want to make sure that everyone know where to draw the line between IC and OOC. Something that happens IC in one room may be known OOC, but remember that it should stay OOC. Your IC character cannot know anything about it.

For example: If Sohee and Jiung are texting each other, you might know ooc what they're texting each other, however your ic character cant not see those conversations, so please be sure not to bring those up! 

OOC Drama / IC Drama

We have seen a few instances with some people mixing ic and ooc drama as well, if you are unsure, a little communication goes a long way! However, we do want to keep in mind that the chat rooms are not a place for hostile environments, if you want to address the issue, pms are the best way to do it. 

If you are uncomfortable sending a direct message with the person, please be sure to make a gpm that includes the admins, and the admins will be there only to spectate, and will only get involved if needed! This is just so there is a neutral ground and things can be handled in a (hopefully) mature manner! 

Please do not be afraid to be the first one to reach out, someone has to be the one to do it. 

Inclusivity in General

There’s been some concern about exclusivity, with complaints about groups sticking together and not interacting outside their circles. We are by no means asking you to break character, but we do want you to keep in mind that the chat rooms are a public space, so please be sure that others are feeling comfortable to come in and chat, even if they aren’t part of your friend group or idol group.

Moving Forward

In light of the concerns mentioned, we’ve put together a series of events aimed at encouraging fun interaction and simply have a good time. Whether you’re just starting out or have been here for a while, these events are designed with everyone in mind!

Event Schedule

• Threads (9/6 - 9/30)

  • Hound and the Hare 

    • Hare - Normally the person that would be the 'hound' (They are the prey and the ones being chased.)

    • Hound - Normally the person that would be the 'hare' (They are the predator and the ones doing the chasing.)

    • Signing up is optional and will lead to random pairing to help expand writing opportunities. Please click here to sign up for the event if you would like to be paired! (9/6-9/13 for sign ups)

    • If you don't sign up, you can still thread this with someone of your choice.

  • Haunted Woods 

    • This can be something fun to do with friends!

  • Autumn Ball

    • Autumn Ball will be held IC every weekend on Saturday to attempt to ensure everyone can attend keeping heats/ruts in mind.

• Bingo (9/7-9/30)

  • A bingo card will be made and given to everyone. Once you've completed the tasks, you can try to collect a bingo!

  • You’ll receive a cute badge for completing it!

• Dp event (9/6-9/13)

  • The theme will be fall-related.

  • Participants can change their DP to something that represents the fall season. Whether it's cozy sweaters, autumn leaves, or seasonal colors, be however you would like with your fall-themed DPs!

• Scavenger Hunt (9/7-9/14)

  • There are fifteen hidden items scattered across the different rooms. Your mission is to find all fifteen of them!

  • Once you find an item, take a screenshot or note the location and submit it to gpm by adding the admins.

  • The first person to find all fifteen items will receive a special reward, and anyone who completes the hunt will get a badge of participation!
