it's super pretty and green here. but also super humid. i die every time i step outside so it's basically train everywhere anymore. i walked 8 miles yesterday and i was covered in sweat stains. neVER AGAIN.
STAY AWAY FROM HUMID CLIMATES. JESUS .
the first few days, i felt a little overwhelmed. i keep waking up at like 1-3 am and i can't sleep in past then. and then i pass out at 7-8 pm every night. what is a sleep schedule?
but yeah, anyway. i have a tiny and cute studio apartment. i have only a microwave and a hot plate. although, i have a full bathroom and lots of storage for my (too many) clothes.
i just wish my location was closer. i'm a 20 minute walk from my apartment to my university. by train, it's 9. so not much difference. to waste the yen on getting a ticket or not, huh?
everyone here dresses so nicely and here i am in my "gaijin" wear, tshirts and shorts. oh well. can't do anything about it now! they have super loose clothing to cope with the humidity. i wish i had known this ahead of time.
i hope everyone is doing well. please drink enough water and don't miss any meals like i have been. (my excuse is that i'm not comfortable enough yet with japanese food to get food--especially breakfast foods.)
i miss everyone here but god knows i don't have any time to get on.
i'll see you guys around, okay? hit me up on kkt. pm me if you don't have it.
またね!
