So, I had this idea and don't know where to really go with it. It was inspired by quite a lot of things but, to put it simply, five boys band together to break out of the mental hospital where they are inpatients for crimes they committed. Now, I wasn't sure where to take this so I figured it would be better put in...I don't know, I guess a roleplay form? Since I'm not sure where I could/would take the idea as a fanfiction.

These are the characters. (Don't judge me.)

Do Kyungsoo | Born: January 12, 1993
Reason for Admission: Crime as a result of mental disorder
Disorder: Addiction to bloodletting
S/M: Sadistic
Crime: When he couldn't stand his university roommates anymore, he set up a nice trap for them by the dumpsters behind one of the buildings that wasn't used so much anymore as it was under renovations. He wanted to break apart their vanity and, after some rounds of bloodletting that had happened back in high school, he'd already become a professional at doing the deed and keeping it clean. He made sure to tape their mouths shut as he took his time using his favorite blade to draw red. He only enjoyed the sight of it and once he deemed himself satisfied and his roommates not much of a problem, he left them to bleed out. He's grown to know how to commit the deed without killing his victims. That's the only reason he got caught.
Personality: He’s very good with making any and everything into a weapon. He’s usually considerably standoffish but can be a very warm person once you get to know him. Besides his addiction, there isn’t much else about him that stands out and very few know of his addiction anyway. He’s very protective but won’t pick a fight. He’s a person that’s very respectful of someone’s personal space and their things. He won’t go out of his way to hurt someone or for revenge. His style is minimal and simplistic. He’s truly happy with the small things in life.
Favorite Toy: Park Chanyeol or, in other words, a boy that never seems to learn his lesson when it comes to Kyungsoo. Although, it’s more like he doesn’t care what the lesson is. He enjoys any and all pain that Kyungsoo gives him. He’s been cut quite a few times by Kyungsoo but he doesn’t care. He doesn’t have any scars to prove it either so he lets Kyungsoo hurt him, namely because it makes the younger male smile. They first met in high school when Chanyeol stopped him from stabbing his seniors for picking on him. Kyungsoo was a lot colder then, at least to Chanyeol, and didn’t apologize but, instead, got angry at him for getting in the way. That’s the only scar that the older male has: a small scar on his side, near his hip bone, where the pencil went into his skin. It’s barely noticeable but it’s something that Chanyeol actually cherishes.

Min Yoongi | Born: March 9, 1993
Reason for Admission: Crime as a result of mental disorder
Disorder: Pyromania and the smoke that comes from it
S/M: Masochistic
Crime: His first crime was around the age of fourteen. He’d been framed by some kids that he had considered his friends by them planting one of the lighters they stole on him. When he almost went to juvenile for theft, he ended up going for arson, killing those so-called friends with the same lighter with which they framed him. The lighter became an addiction, along with other forms of fire. His most recent destruction was actually for a good cause but he still endangered lives by setting fire to an old abandoned building. There had been an argument in the rundown neighborhood where he lives about tearing it down to put up a hospital or at least a clinic or health center of some sort, which had been a need for a while. The other side of the argument was that the building was historical and shouldn’t be taken down for such a purpose when they could find a better spot for it. He took matters into his own hands. He didn’t have to be caught, not that he ever leaves any evidence behind anyway. He pretty much turned himself in to the pair of cops that he’s known since his early teenage years. They watch out for him and he tries not to actually kill anyone.
Personality: He’s easily considered the silent but deadly type. He never aims to kill but he doesn’t really care if it happens, considering them as nothing more than accidental casualties. He’s friendly but a lot of people wouldn’t know that as he doesn’t make himself known to anyone. He has strong trust issues after what happened when he was younger, having to go through a court trial and everything when he had been innocent. Ever since then, his favorite method of escaping reality is through self-mutilation, namely through cutting and burning himself. The more it hurts, the happier he is. It started off with him doing it to himself as punishment for trusting idiots and it eventually grew into habit to make himself breathe a little better each day. He’s been in and out of mental institutions pretty regularly over the years, his parents don’t even bother putting up with him anymore and he just acts like they never existed, considering he feels as though they were never on his side either anyway.
Favorite Toy: Jung Hoseok, alias the only boy who can shatter Yoongi’s ice-cold brick heart. They met at a music camp when Hoseok was accidentally assigned to his room. Hoseok eventually had to change rooms but, by the time he had to move, he’d already shaken and opened Yoongi up to him, which resulted in Hoseok sneaking into his room multiple times to share his bed with him. Hoseok was always one to work on impulse, doing things that made him happy and made others happy without a second thought. Yoongi taught him self-control and he taught Yoongi to let go of things that hurt him. Hoseok’s been busy with moving Yoongi’s things from his old apartment into his own apartment since Yoongi, although reluctantly, had agreed to move in with him.

Yoo Kihyun | Born: November 22, 1993
Reason for Admission: Crime as a result of mental disorder
Disorder: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
S/M: Sadistic
Crime: Ignorant professors are the simplest way to explain the straw that broke the camel’s back. It wasn’t enough that he had roommates that didn’t understand what it meant to keep things clean and in order. No matter how many times he tried to be good and use his words, but they wouldn’t listen. He tried to let it be but it began to become torture on him when one professor in particular thought that it was funny that he wasn’t giving him the grades that he deserved. Life seemed so much clearer when Jinyoung moved in to their dorm room. He found a friend and a partner in crime in a junior that was beyond willing to do anything to make his senior happy, even if that meant killing a buffoon of a professor and some irritatingly unruly roommates. He was only caught because someone found the pieces of the bodies that he and Jinyoung cut up in the school’s dumpster.
Personality: Sharp. Clean. Simple. A man of just enough words to get his point across, and one that doesn’t like to repeat himself. He’s very straightforward and hates to have things repeated to him as well. His memory is impeccable and he’s always early, never just on time. He’s known to be extremely clean and known to go the extra mile to have things the way he wants. He’s fine with accepting that perfection isn’t always possible but that doesn’t mean he won’t aim for it, no matter how many times he has to try. He’s good at slicing and dicing and cleaning up messes. He has a thing for hearing people scream, especially ones muffled with a cloth gag or duct tape.
Favorite Toy: Im Changkyun, also known as a little boy that can’t seem to stop following Kihyun around for whatever reason. He never says why he can’t leave the older male alone and he makes no effort to do so. Kihyun himself though knows that it has everything to do with the way that he treats Changkyun, a certain someone that likes to be babied. They used to be neighbors and their mothers used to work at the same shop so they spent a lot of time together. Some would say that Changkyun is the cause for Kihyun’s OCD but Kihyun knows better; he knows that Changkyun is just a major part of it. They younger helps keep Kihyun human though. Otherwise, Kihyun would happily live like a robot that couldn’t function where there was mess or germs of any sort.

Park Jinyoung | Born: September 22, 1994
Reason for Admission: Crime as a result of mental disorder
Disorder: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
S/M: Sadomasochistic although a bit more masochistic
Crime: To put it very simply, he was an accomplice to murder. He had moved into Kihyun’s dorm room mid-semester and was elated that he found someone with the same…well, tendencies as his own. They both liked everything spotless and in a particular order. They could also easily sit and talk about the things they enjoyed since there’s quite a lot that they have in common. Now, they can even say that they’ve both been to trial for murder and have been admitted into a mental institution together. True partners in crime.
Personality: He’s very clean cut and blunt, nothing short of either. He loves to read and is even a literature major along with Kihyun. He cuts no corners when it comes to his work or even to just ironing his clothes for the next day. As sweet as he actually is and can be, he’s still the walking definition of the phrase “If looks could kill.” A glare from him is almost like a promise of death. He’s enough of a germophobe, right along with Kihyun as well, that things, such as surfaces and floors, have to be cleaned at least twice to be considered decent. Once he’s out of the institution, he and Kihyun have already made plans to live together. No one is stopping that.
Favorite Toy: Mark Tuan, the boy from overseas that lets Jinyoung mold him, to a degree. He takes advice on quite a number of things from the younger and accepts everything that Jinyoung is with open arms. It’s hard for Jinyoung to feel any ill will toward someone that smiles so easily at him and gives his all to make sure he’s okay. He also doesn’t trust anyone to punish him the way Mark does. They met one day in high school when Mark caught Jinyoung trying to cut himself in one of the school’s bathrooms; Jinyoung’s secret pleasure – self-mutilation. Over the years, he had convinced Mark for a while that he had stopped but the older caught him again and again, hoping that he would stop at some point. To protect Jinyoung, Mark promised to punish him when needed, namely if Jinyoung’s hurt someone. Jinyoung’s anxious to get out of the institution for two reasons: To move in with Kihyun and to receive his proper punishment from his loving hyung.

Park Jimin | Born: October 13, 1995
Reason for Admission: Crime as a result of mental disorder
Disorder: Phonophobia
S/M: Sadistic
Crime: When he was younger was when he first became sensitive to sudden, loud noises. As far as he saw it, they always seemed to trigger something bad, at least more often than not. When he was almost a teenager, he went to a fireworks festival and witnessed his friend at the time get stabbed, happening to walk upon the incident. When he was fifteen, he can easily recall sirens and screaming as one of the teachers he looked up to had jumped from the roof of their arts academy. Closer to graduating, he was alone in the house, or at least he thought he was alone when he heard gunshots. He still isn’t sure to this day as to who shot whom, but the incident took the lives of both of his aunt and uncle, his legal guardians at the time. It wasn’t too long after graduating from the arts academy that he was living full-time with his parents again. Just like before, they did nothing but argue, yelling and throwing things at each other constantly. Jimin had planned it out. Their lives were all too easy to take. The pleading and the crying was the first time he really got to see them for who they really were. It didn’t matter. He confessed to the crime, too, just like he confessed to his most recent crime, helping his friend, Kyungsoo, get rid of some noisy roommates. After finding out the roommates had worked to get Kyungsoo arrested, he killed them all without a single thought.
Personality: He’s a really sweet kid, as long as things aren’t too loud. He doesn’t mind noise but it has to stay a minimum for him not to start having a mental breakdown. He takes most of his classes for school online, unless he has no other choice but to take them in person. He’s friendly but isn’t the type to stick around for too long. It takes a bit to make him snap, at least to the point of killing. He has no problem finding a reason to make someone, namely those that make too much noise or participate in it, to cry and beg him not to hurt them. He usually walks around with his headphones or earbuds, listening to soft classical music or songs with his two best friends’ singing.
Favorite Toys: Kim Taehyung, the one that never learns, and Jung Jungkook, the one that doesn’t care to learn. They met one year while working as counselors-in-training for a summer camp, sharing the same room together. Taehyung is the walking definition of Jimin’s fears but Jimin doesn’t mind, for a multitude of reasons. Taehyung is a bit oblivious as he finds the smallest of things to be truly joyous about in life and the way he smiles at Jimin always melts the latter’s heart. He’s also quiet whenever Jimin asks and is always clinging to him or cuddled up to him. Jungkook is naturally quiet, and very observant. He’s clean-cut and a hard worker, always doing all in his power to get a task done. He’s a sweet kid that always has a smile to give, specifically to both Jimin and Taehyung. He hates the idea of disappointing either of them and truly is the middle ground for the both of them although the two older males seem to get along perfectly fine even when he’s not around. The three of them watch out for each other, but Jungkook and Taehyung go the extra mile to make sure that Jimin is okay.
