Heads up! Age gap; Possible: Step-father, step-son and/or Teacher, student (depends on what you pick)
There are three different routes I have in mind for this but the main one is that Minhyuk is Jisung's step-father or at least his mom's boyfriend. He and Jisung's mom would have at least started dating the year before Jisung graduated secondary/high school. Jisung quickly took a liking to him and ends up hurt when he finds out his mom is having a secret affair.
Now, Minhyuk could also have been a teacher in Jisung's high school that he always liked or he's a part-time college professor (these could be separate options or run alongside Minhyuk being the mom's boyfriend).
Some kind of notes/Things I'd pictured (via a rambling of messages I'd sent a friend and, yes, I just copied and pasted):
- I just have this cute image in my head of Han curled up to Minhyuk’s side while he’s like reading something or checking something on his phone. And Jisung just pouts and lets out this little whine. Minhyuk asks him what’s wrong and he just responds in tiny “I just want a kiss, hyung.” And Minhyuk gets confused at first and the first way I saw him responding was “Hyung? Since when did you start calling me that? I’m not appa anymore?” And he kisses Han’s forehead which just makes the baby pout even more but he’s still quite sated.
- sobs and I just pictured Jisung getting bullied in school and his mom has come to pick him up but he just sits in the back of the car completely quiet. When they get home and he sees Minhyuk, he just tears up and runs to hug him. His mother is a little miffed but lets it go.
- I also pictured Minhyuk actually picking up from school and Han is hiding somewhere because of the bullying and so Minhyuk goes looking for him because no one seems to know where he went and when he finds him it’s the same thing of him crying and clinging to him.
- My brain ended up seeing that that’s one of the reasons the mother doesn’t want to be with Minhyuk anymore because she’s just “You stole me son! He treats me like I’m invisible now! He doesn’t talk to me about anything anymore!” and Han cuts in and goes “That’s not his fault! You bullied me just like the kids at school. You kept laughing it off or telling me to just it up!” And Minhyuk’s eyes widen before he pulls Jisung behind him, “We’re not going to argue about this. As your partner, I stepped in and stepped up to make sure he felt comfortable around me. Are you truly upset that your son actually likes me?” My thoughts just went to Jisung getting upset and going “it’s because she’s cheating on you! She knows I don’t want you to go so she just cheats.” And she doesn’t want to admit it at first but then she goes “I wanted to break up with you for a while. You’re too boring for me. I need some fun, some excitement. That’s simply not you.” And I just see Minhyuk packing his bags and deciding to leave and she’s just “where do you think you’re going?” And he answers with “I have a place to go.” And he goes to stay at a friend’s house. Jisung uses like an app to find the place like ones of those friend tracking apps (something I’m think he and Minhyuk had set up so Minhyuk could find him when he would hide, especially with the bullying). That or he calls Minhyuk and casually finds out like he asks “But where did you go?” “Just a friend’s house. I’m not too far. Down by the row of shops where we always get breakfast.” And Jisung just shows up a little while later with a duffel bag.
It's a lot because it's really stuck in my head. It's majority fluff and slice-of-life. My own head leans toward Minhyuk being the mom's boyfriend and he is a part-time college professor. It would pick up mainly around Jisung either finding out about his mom cheating and trying to figure out how to tell Minhyuk or after he's already told on her. Jisung would be getting ready to go off to college or just starting. I don't see him going to the school where Minhyuk teaches but he definitely could. But, yeah. This is really in my head and if anyone is interested in rping it, just let me know? ;3;
