No matter where you are, no matter WHO you are or what you identify as. You are not alone. You have people who love and care for you even if you can’t or don’t see it. I say this as much to myself as I do to anyone who reads this.
Honestly, it took me this long to write this because I was still trying to wrap my head around the news. I didn’t want to believe at first, yet another major influence on my life (especially when it comes to fine arts albeit this time unknowingly) has left suddenly. And around this time of year when I’m mourning all over again already and this just added to it. And I know that no matter what we feel, no matter how much we are hurting, it doesn’t compare to that of his family that he’s left behind or s and friends who knew him personally. BUT THAT DOESN’T MAKE OUR PAIN AND HURT ANY LESS REAL. And old friend of mine helped me learn that and remember that. And although we don’t speak anymore I always remember those words. Yes there is always gonna be somebody who hurts worse or is going through a worse situation, but that doesn’t make what you feel or going through invalid or less real.
So please, if you’re going through a tough time or even just need some support, talk to someone. A friend, a family member, a professional, even me as my PMs are always open and I have multiple platforms on which I am open to communicate on if that’s preferred. Just don’t keep it in. And as someone who has been keeping it in her whole life I know that’s it’s easier said than done, I’ve lost friendships because of all the things I keep inside, but it’s not healthy. Your life is too important. So please, get help. It’s never too late.
