Because it's heart-warming, and I don't expect this news to go outside our borders-
Serious Request is an event hosted by a Dutch radio. For a week three dj's live in a "glass room" in the middle of a square in the city. They try to raise money for a good cause; this year the goal is to bring children and family members together, who lost each other in a disaster. Through the Red Cross. All over the country people are doing stuff to raise money for this cause.
This morning, 2,5 hours ago, a kpop fan opened up an action to raise money in memory of Jonghyun. In return, we can request a song to be played on the radio. Currently there's a poll going on to choose the song, which may also be a SHINee one. It was posted in the Dutch kpop fans Facebook page, which has around 3.500 members.
As we speak, we currently raised over € 1.000 after only 2,5 hours!
Saturday we will go to the square, donate the money and tell Jonghyun's story.
It warms my heart that fans come together for this cause, and can combine giving money to a good cause with a sign of honor to our beloved Jonghyun. During the speech, we will also ask for attention that some diseases can't be seen with the blind eye.
