We were inseparable, we started out as the best of friends, I was your homie and you were mine. You knew what my father did to me as well as what my ex boyfriend before you had done. You made me fall in love with you hard, promising that you would never hurt me like they had. You cheated on me once but I forgave you, not only because I loved you but because I was pregnant with your child. I thought it would make you happy. It didn’t, and I haven’t seen you since you beat me and left me alone breaking all your promises to me. What am I supposed to do when you suddenly show up again? All the memories, all the pain comes rushing back. You claim you’ve changed, is it true?
