Head Moderator of Roleplay Republic

My name is Ida and I am the head moderator of Roleplay Republic. I have been a moderator on RPR from 2013-2015, took a break from moderating because of university, and came back again in late 2016-early 2017. I have been a moderator on three different sites in the past 10 years; if you combine the experience, it amounts to almost 14 years of being a moderator. Due to recently moving countries as well as working on my master’s thesis, I have been fairly absent from moderating in the past few months. While I am still working on my master’s thesis (and will be for the next 7 months), I am now settled and ready to get back to work! 

As head moderator, I am the leader of the team of moderators. Along with regular moderator duties, it is my job to ensure that the team of moderators work with integrity and fairness. Therefore, any complaints about any of the moderators should be directed to me. Depending on the severity of the complaint, I will either address it to the moderator in question or, in more serious cases, bring it to Nichiren. If you have a complaint about me and you do not feel comfortable bringing it to me, please bring it to Marshmallow_Cloud, who will bring your concerns to Nichiren.

• My master’s thesis is about cultural appropriation of and in K-pop (‘cause I am a nerd like that) – my master’s degree is Intercultural Studies.
• I am an introvert who loves hugs.
• My cat is named Kali, after the Hindu goddess who just so happens to be a symbol of death and desolation. My mother bought Kali a cat tag that says  "DEATH AND DESTRUCTION" in my native language instead of "Kali"... 
• My favourite books are Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
• I will always pick sweet potato fries over regular fries.
• I collect concert DVDs – I have 8 with Super Junior, 7 with Shinee, 4 with EXO, and 1 with Infinite.
• My birthday is December 18 – Ever since 2012, I have gotten at least one concert DVD for my birthday/Christmas.
• I am The Mom Friend™.
• Most of my friends associate giraffes with me because I love giraffes – I have two tattoos and one of them includes a little giraffe with heart-shaped spots (and I love it!).
