I handed in my MA thesis on March 1st and finally got my grade yesterday - I got the highest grade possible! My supervisor had warned me that the censor of my thesis was very harsh, to the degree that she had actually requested a new one but university bureaucracy prevented it, so knowing that I had such a harsh censor and that I still got the highest grade possible just makes me extra proud of myself.
My supervisor even said that she hopes "they provide time for me to do a mini-speech about the outstanding qualities of your thesis - if that’s not too embarrassing for you" during the graduation reception... *looks like a tomato*
I am just so relieved and I still can't quite wrap my head around it. I knew I wouldn't fail, but with my supervisor being as worried about the harshness of the censor as she was, I was honestly expecting the third highest grade.
Who knew K-pop could earn you a Master's degree in Intercultural Studies?!
