just a few things to keep in mind before you proceed.
1. if a character name has a strikethrough, then the character is taken. you can still click that character's name and be taken to their character page though.
2. when applying for a character, simply look for the codename of sorts given here and find them on the masterlist. you can give them a name when you apply.
3. some of the characters attended Gotham preparatory academy, or Gotham prep. if they are listed with "gp" next to their name, they attended at some point and may or may not have graduated from there. they may or may not remember each other. if your character isn't listed as gp and you would like them to be, just ask.
4. if you want to have your story tied to another character somehow, simply ask first. if someone has already taken that character, just talk to that rper.
5. pay attention to colored words in character bios; that's a sign they are tied to another character. if a list of some sorts with character ties is needed down the road, one will be made.
6. if you really want to join but don't see a character that really suits you, just comment on the rp and ask about it. also, if you feel that your character would fit better under another list, just say so when applying.

- she was previously her mother's precious secret from her father. at some point, he found out, although neither of them are sure how and they don't mention it either. she remembers everyone that she went to school with at Gotham prep but they don't seem to remember her and she doesn't point it out either. she was once known to have tons of tricks up her sleeve and secrets that she refuses to share and she's still known to keep quiet more often than not, although she's always been considered very friendly. she's also been known to be a scary mad genius with a wicked sense of humor and a knack for science and psychology. thanks to her mother's genetics and her aunt, poison ivy, she's immune to all toxins and poisons and is also the "childhood friend" of pod 1 and pod 2. she's also considerably a master of disguise. she's the best friend and roommate of kitty and is also his provider. she protects him to all extremes as she does her other kitten, princess, that her mother gave her when she was young.

- they were born of a pod, the same pod to be exact, technically making them twins, and they're identical as well, although fraternal by human terms. they both have their mother's signature red hair. their skin is also naturally a faint green although it's not all that noticeable most of the time, especially now that they're older, as it's begun to take on a more natural human skin tone as they've gotten older. they are half-human, half-plant and can feed on human food but just as easily survive with water and sunlight and the occasional plant food formulated by their mother. they walk, talk, and act alike in almost every way. they each have powers of their own though, as they are elementals with their strongest element being earth; it makes them terrifying forces of nature to be reckoned with, so it's best to be cautious with them. as far as personality goes, they used to come off as more robotic which is why their mother sent them to Gotham prep. as they've gotten older, they've learned to behave more like the average human, although they sometimes still have a bit of difficulty. because of their closeness to ace, they are also close to kitty.
- pod 1 is more potent regarding poisonous chemicals. he has a serum that he can inject himself with or pills to take, all thanks to his mother, that help to control his cells if he gets too riled up. it can be an uncontrolled reaction where his pores release gases that have different effects, of which he is more aware now that he's older. he learned about them the most when he'd been kidnapped and used as a weapon by chem until he was saved by ace and pod 2.
- in the sense of poisonous gases, this is the only way pod 1 and pod 2 differ, as in they are complete opposites, which is why they are supposed to always be together. pod 2 releases gases that are less harmful and tend to induce more positive effects, at least on humans. her gases dull the more negative effects of her brother's, while her brother's can enhance the positive effects of hers.

- he was a lab production of a man that was attempting to impress catwoman but she didn't quite get the message and he ended up tossed out and left to his own devices, where ace found him and took him in. he is willing to go to extreme lengths if necessary to protect ace, as she will do the same for him. he is literally, by genetics, half-human and half-feline. he has the ability to change fully into a black cat when he wants to, something that used to drain his energy but not so much anymore. he can show his ears and tail or hide them as well. an undiscovered ability of his is being able to transform into any feline he wants. thanks to ace, he learned how to act more like a human than a lab rat but he still has trouble more often than not as he chooses not to really interact with anyone else besides ace, pod 1 and 2 and ace's other kitten, princess.

- he's a chemical experiment like his father although his father isn't even sure how his son got to be like him. unlike his father, x doesn't have to depend on the chemical to live and he's also not addicted to it either as it is not the same chemical solution as venom. he usually wears jackets or longer sleeves to cover up the green tint to his skin that the tubing just under his skin gives him. his skin turns a light red during transformations. he's sweet and usually quiet but he is short-tempered.

- she enjoys mind games and puzzles, like her father, enjoying the simple act of increasing and testing her knowledge. when she attended Gotham prep, she was completely against and could even be considered an enemy, although more accurately a bully, to ace, although she doesn't even remember her much now. she's obsessed with psych and doctor and their intelligence and all and is very willing to go out of her way to try and receive praise from them, no matter what it takes.

- she was once engaged to bear and All of her crimes have been connected to saving and curing him and she's always willing to go the extra mile to protect him. she used to be a skilled scientist that worked at Wayne Corp. with a focus in organic chemistry, later focusing more on green chemistry as well, although she began to focus more on the latter after a while. she's usually quiet but there are stories of her being quite the firecracker. when she's geared up, she wears a white medical mask that has tubes attached to it from a pack on her back that extracts whatever hazardous chemicals bear puts out from time to time. she has created a serum/breathable cure through green chemistry that takes bear's toxins and helps keep her immune to his any toxins and poisons in his touch.

- he was once engaged to chem. he was also once a scientists at wayne corp. with a focus in biochemistry. he was tricked and used for a project that unknowingly used his own research against him. the project was supposed to turn him into a being that thrives off of hazardous compounds but, instead, caused him to become a metahuman that can turn anything he wants into toxic waste. he feeds on both hazardous and non-hazardous chemical compounds. he's learned to better control his abilities over the years but he's thankful that he doens't even have to worry about that with chem as she is immune to his natural toxins. he will do anything he can to protect her by any means necessary. he considers her to be a very important part of his life, whether they marry or not, and he wants to always keep it that way. he does constantly worry though that she's tired of him or that she just doesn't feel he's as important to her as she is to him and it brings his mood down sometimes. he's a very quiet, gentle, and loving soul that only wants peace for everyone.
