for the people that love aus

honestly, it’s been a while since i’ve adored a roleplay this much so i wanted just give it some love and i guess talk about why i like it.

i’d organize this all like buzzfeed article and all, but i’m lazy and tired so that’s not happening. 

i wasn’t sure about the rp when i first saw it. recently, i have just been sticking to pms because i didn’t see a distinct difference between aus and nonaus. however, i'm so happy i gave it a chance.

i love that the concept is just an academy of supervillains. i adore how simple it is, but unique. i have never heard of a roleplay like it [i could be blind. forgive if there was another like it]. i appreciate how simple the concept is because it allows for a variety of characters. i like the creative freedom that is given to the writers that join. 

i think the main reason i love this roleplay is the people. the more you put into the roleplay, the more you’ll get out of it. i appreciate how willing people are to plot. I also think it's cool that there many times i’m plotting and it will cause my idea to run in with their plot with another person, ultimately leading me to plot with that person aswell. i think the community is also very accepting. i think people are usually greeted by at least one person, if not more. i also like that one doesn't have to join this roleplay at its conception to be accepted.

i feel like i’m writing a story with these people and i love that. it’s not pointless banter all the time. i feel like interactions in this rp are meaningful; they ultimately affect what happens to the characters and how a character’s story progresses. 

another minor thing i like is the pace. i like that it’s a little bit slower. honestly, aus that move like nonaus give me anxiety. they are fun, but i also feel like i can’t step away. you have to be there to be part of the community and sometimes we don’t always have that time. for this rp, it’s not stagnant, but also doesn’t move fast enough that one feels lost every time one comes back to the ic room. there definitely moment where it is very fast and very lit, but that’s not the norm. 

i don’t what else to say.
