I'd really like opinions on this. I'm just really curious.

Now, there are, of course, lots of RPs here, both active, semi-active, and inactive. But I was wondering what makes your ideal rp here. And I'm not referring to something simple like "if my character is available" or "I'm into only." Of course that all plays a factor but I'm really curious as to what factors make you think an rp is worth joining and staying. I know that people get busy and/or overwhelmed with characters, plots, etc. and that those are some of the reasons why people leave RPs but, regarding how RPs are run and set up here:

What makes the ideal RP?

kinda like a simple yet really interesting plot with a large group of really friendly and nice people, also not a lot of rules that like bind down the limits of your character. a place where you can chill about and laugh but also get some actual nice rping threads done

Alot of active people who are actually friendly and not cliquey or selective with who they talk to or rp with even if they’re friends ooc, admins who make an effort to reach out to everyone and can keep the energy up, and places that are fun but not too much crack (because it seems like thats all alot of rps are these days) and a plot or au that won’t get tiring after a few weeks

Hmm... I don't know really... If the plot/world is good and attractive for what I like to do, then I often consider to join, but that is very rare... Also an important factor for me, is that there are many active people, but not overwhelmingly many. Also if the rules are for my liking, like if they have something in the rules that I can't accept or something, then I won't join. Well, there's many things, but I am not sure exactly what right now ^^
