Disclaimer: Before you read this and assume that I am speaking to every rp'er there is on rpr- I'm not. I'm merely sharing my frustration for the fact that about 90% of the people that I converse with, whether it be on this account or the other accounts I have, have behaved this way in recent weeks/months and it's getting annoying. There still is that tiny 10% who rp with me as normal, I am not speaking about you lovely people, you know who you are. <3 We now return to our regularly scheduled programing.
It seems like latey all the has been happening to me. Like, this month has been really ty and I'm ready for it to be over. I'm ready for my trip to tennessee to hurry the up and get here so I can literally disappear from the world for three days, get drunk, have some good food, and hang out with my best friend whom I haven't seen in two years. Why, you ask?
I've noticed a trend on rpr as of late, the trend being NO ONE WANTS TO ING RP ANYMORE. If it isn't school (college summer semester), summer itself, they're just ghosting because of lack of interest. It's ing annoying, especially when you sit down and plan out well thought plots, and all your hard work gets flushed down the comode because someone "looses muse" very easily. I'll admit, I go through periods of this, but I at least give warning a head of time and state clearly on my profiles that I have a job and a life and sometimes I disappear for a few days/weeks/occasional month.
That being said, I'm irritated at one of my rp partners on another account.
For the sake of discression, I will not be revealing which account it is or who the person is, just because I really don't feel like starting drama. This person has no idea that his account even exists, and well...they aren't online anyway, so. I'll explain in a minute.
I have a series of plots, and by series I mean around ten scenes, going on with this person. We have been doing this for a little over two months. I've enjoyed it, but because work got crazy, I took a two week hiatus from rpr. (all my accounts were dormant) This person, who has my kkt, messaged me borderline every day, if not every other day, pretty much harrasing me to rp with them. I told them I was busy, they persisted.
Finally when I stopped replying to them, they stopped messaging me, and when I was ready I returned. (this was teusday) I hopped online and began roleplaying. We got a few good replies in, maybe around three or four given the volume of scenes we have going, and then both hopped off for the night. We moved into the next morning (wednesday) and this person gave me one reply to all our plots, then said they were busy. I said I would be too, as I was going to my boyfriend's house, and the person then asked me, "We're gonna rp tomorrow (meaning today), right? Maybe when you get home?" I responded with a yes and we agreed to pick up today, if not last night.
Well, we didn't do it last night casue they weren't online. I hopped on this morning, and of course the person who was so eager to rp, who harrassed me for two weeks, who literally was "so excited" to rp and had "so many ideas" for new plots, sent me this message when I told them I was online and ready to go. "trying to write responses and i...just can't. like the juice isn't coming out to me tbh."
.....you harrass me for two weeks, you hype me up and get me online to rp, you commit for two days, and then YOU just CAN'T get the juice out?!
I get it, we go through funks, we all do it- hell, I DO IT! But- Do. Not. Do. This. To. Me. I've been through enough as it is, and I only got back on because YOU WOULDN'T ING LEAVE ME ALONE! I forced myself to get back on that account all because YOU WERE PUSHING ME! NOW I SEE WHO THE IDIOT IS!
I'm not the person to ghost someone, but I'm seriously considering it after this.
Oh, and before anyone jumps on me for being salty about this, spoiler alert- this person wasn't even online. I refreshed the page to see if they even got online to reply in the thirty minute time period that they said the would be typing...they never logged in. The last time they logged in was shown at July 18th, 2018. It's the 19th.
*sigh*
I hate fake people.
Edit: I JUST ASKED THIS PERSON IF THEY LOGGED IN AT ALL TO REPLY, THEY WAITED ABOUT A MINUTE TO LOG IN AND THEN MESSAGED ME BACK SAYING THEY DID WHEN I HAVE RECEIPTS. BYE.
