IS THE DEFINITION OF THAT
She belongs to a species known to most as "Celestials" or "Wanderers." No one knows where Celestials come from or what their true purpose is but, more importantly, most don't even know of their existence. While Celestials are born with unique abilities, albeit some similar to one another, none are born with the exact same set of abilities. One ability that they all hold though is the ability to travel between dimensional planes.
She was always one of the good spirits, as the Celestials call their young. She was also focused on controlling her abilities, using them to benefit and protect those around her. It wasn't common but it wasn't rare either that jealousy sparked among Celestials, although it was more common among the spirits. She wasn't aware as to just how much one held against her, nor the lengths that they would go to get what they wanted against her.
Star Celestials are those select Celestials that help keep things in line for others of their kind. On her way to becoming one, she found herself on trial one day for a crime that she hadn't committed. Many of her kind turned their backs on her and her kind and gentle nature didn't fight what had been brought against her. When it became aware as to what had happened, that she had been framed, she decided to plead her case, only to be greeted with unyielding ears. She grew shunned by her kind and decided to find her own freedom, unintentionally creating her own dimensional plane. She kept the secret to herself and decided that she would use this new world to find and sort the balance between good and evil.
She became known as Equinox.
As she travels from galaxy to galaxy, planet to planet, Earth has always seemed to be one of the most imbalanced of them all, with the wrong and underhanded seemingly in control of the good-hearted and kind. She could not stand for this and created a human form for her to walk the Earth. With her ability to read hearts and minds, she sent to her plane those that needed to learn what it meant to carry the virtues of true character and see the good in themselves.
Either caught by her or her "children," known as The Court, you have been sent to the ever-changing dimensional plane of Aaeraya, where your world is constantly changing and all you can do is learn to adapt. At some point, you'll be set free but only when your heart is in the right place.
