Yikes. How long has it been since I was last active here? 3? 4 years? Time sure does fly when you forget about the existence of something and move on with life.
Looking back at my old blog posts and even at my profile itself, I’m going to be frank and say that I physically cringed at myself. You know? When you look back at some things and just think to yourself. “Why?” right? Hahaha.
Anyways, I’m not sure if I’ll deactivate this account now that I’ve remembered it. I made some good, cringey and nice memories on here.
People mature as time passes. Their goals, motivation, interests and perception alter as they grow. I don’t know when I’ll be back here in the future, but if I do come back; I won’t be as active as I used to be in the past. Right now, I’d like to focus on university, life and singing.
Before I leave though, I’d like to give some advice. If you think a group of people are toxic and are bad for your mental health, leave them. Its better to find a few true friends that genuinely care for you than those that obviously don’t. When you make choices, step back and think “Is this worth it?”. How beneficial is it to both parties?
Oh. By the way, be careful of what degree you choose to do in university, kids. Do something you enjoy that also has employment opportunities. Something that gives you the feeling that you won’t be like “Why am I doing this degree again? Fml. I hate it.” In other words, don’t be like me. monkaS.
