what do you think?
do you think it’s cringey? you think it’s fine?
i think it’s fine, but only like... honourifics or something. asian languages are kinda unique in that way, where saying things like “big brother” is common rather than saying it in english. directly calling someone a senior is put into the language so easily and works with little flow. sometimes it’s good to display relationships that way other than explicitly saying it.
”senpai,” hirotaka muttered. “you didn’t shower in a few days, did you?”
“shut up, nifuji-san!”
i think the only time korean/japanese words work is when characters are usually speaking one language but then they use another language. it’ll be the same thing if the speaker is speaking english but then uses french.
“uh, uh... konnichiwa.” chaeyoung stuttered out, bowing her head. mina giggled, putting her hand over . “ohayo.”
what do you think, though?
