☆ phantom thief k / royalty!au / t
you are the royal of your kingdom, and they hold a masquerade for your coronation. you meet a girl who asks for your hand in dance. she's mysterious but cute, innocent in the way she always seems to be a little sleepy. she says she's a noble of the konoe family. as the two of you stroll the garden together, you are kidnapped by the phantom thief k.

you and kanata are classmates that don't know each other that well. but things have been rough for you at home recently and it's been really affecting your sleep schedule. after being caught asleep in class, kanata pulls you aside during lunch time and brings you to one of her favourite napping spots on the campus.

kanata is thinking of new recipes for her sister's birthday and you, her unsuspecting roommate, gets the priviledge of getting to taste every single delicious plate.

you and dimitri are at a club and good lord you are a really ty dancer but it's kinda funny, so dimitri goes up to you to say hi and you end up clocking him in the nose and breaking it.

you and dimitri are exes, recently broken up in the last few months. you are just on the path to get over him until you get a call one day, from him. "hey, my family likes you, way better than anyone else i've dated and they were crushed when we broke so-- can you be my boy/girlfriend again just for this family reunion so i can get my family off my back?" and for some reason you say yes. maybe it's because you miss his pet cat.

you go to the same school as dimitri though you have never spoken. a friend of yours has informed you that dimitri lives in the town over from you across the country and is willing to give you a ride if you split gas. everything is going fine, albeit a bit awkward, and until oh the car broke down and now we have to stay in this motel for a couple of days until the mechanic can come by and fix it.

you are babysitting your family friend's children and hit the fan and oh god the world is ending. luckily the neighbour's son, dimitri, is willing to help you. all you have to do is find the kid's parents which are... very far away. great.

the feelings you've had for your knight, dimitri, have never been truly mapped out for you. you're mostly afraid of hurting your kingdom by being in love with your knight and you aren't sure if he feels the same. despite everything, you two work hand in hand at almost everything, willing to give your life for the other at the snap of a finger. when suddenly, a war breaks out between yours and a neighbouring kindgom. your kingdom is blindsided and your family is killed. fortunately, you and dimitri make it out in time, but now you're left with a fallen kingdom and nowhere to go.

you and dimitri are working with the rebellion against the military coup that had taken over the former land. with the leader's child recently missing, you and dimitri are mistaken as the child and their guard. it is then that dimitri realizes that you are actually the child of the people who killed his family.

the two of you are co-parenting and while it is hard to parent a toddler as early 20 somethings it's even harder when you are exes that don't really want to be apart but act like you hate each other out of pettiness.

⚬ "i’m NOT breaking into our professor’s apartment to steal the teacher textbook because you think you’re gonna fail. wait... 200 bucks? ... okay, maybe i am."
⚬ “hey, so, i lowkey just lost the baby on the transit.”
“you did wHAT NOW???”
⚬ “hey i heard the waitstaff talking about how your date stood you up so i’m pretending to be your date to save you from embarrassment.” “that’s very sweet of you, but i'm only pretending to be stood up so the staff will feel bad for me and give me a free dessert.”
⚬ "hey so me and my partner have been together for a while now and we want to have a baby.” “great! how are you going to have it?” “we were hoping you could... be a surrogate?" (prolly a poly plot)
⚬ “you accidentally set fire to something in your apartment but it’s okay i ran across the hall in my pjs cos i’m actually a firefighter and i helped you get out and now we’re outside and it’s freezing so lets just hold each other as we introduce ourselves - hey, i’m your new neighbour - do you often set things on fire?? cos if so we should hang out more for safety purposes not cos you’re hella cute or anything”
