The little clique that goes around RPR and causes drama for everyone? You need to realise what you’re doing and stop. I’m not calling out anyone specific, or listing any names yet. My heart goes out to you, because it’s so disappointing you feel the need to stir a storm wherever you go, and you literally can’t go without doing it because you’ve built yourself up around the idea that it’s the only way you’ll stay relevant. Or even worse, you might one of the ones that don’t even realise you’re doing it. Or you might be the one who starts drama and then plays the ‘victim.’ Whatever the case, it’s getting old— You’ve probably been told by different people in a million roleplays, yet you still keep doing it. What do you get out of this? I see you— Some might actually feel guilty for acting the way they do, and good for you if you do. But, change doesn’t happen with just a self-pity post and leaving for a few days. When you come back and act the exact same way, you’re sticking yourself into an endless cycle of self-torture and dragging other people into it in the process.
This is a site for role playing, for people to enjoy writing together— Not somewhere for you to dump your petty teen angst onto others. More and more people are being blacklisted now in roleplays because this ’s seriously getting out of hand. And if you can’t stop wallowing in your issues, then either get profession help instead of sulking on a site that isn’t for that or stop dragging everybody else’s mood down with yours. I’m tired of seeing people leave or get uncomfortable in a roleplay they might really love just because some others can’t get themselves together.
On top of that, can we all please show some more ing respect for admins of their own roleplays? Some people work so hard to get out a roleplay that everyone can enjoy— building the idea, concept, everything up from scratch. And you know what’s not okay? Constantly complaining about the roleplay. Breaking the rules and brushing it off like it’s nothing. Blatantly copying a concept and claiming it as your own. Seriously, admins need to be appreciated more for all they do in each of their roleplays. Doing all of the above and then causing drama doesn’t help at all. In fact, stirring ooc drama make some people uncomfortable which ultimately will bring the entire roleplay down if it doesn’t stop. It wouldn’t kill us all to stop and think for a moment before we speak, or try to be more considerate to each other.
The point is:
Stop hurting other people, it doesn’t heal you.
Follow the rules, they’re there for a reason.
Don’t constantly complain about your problems and drown in your self-pity if you aren’t going to bother doing anything about it.
Try to imagine how others might feel because of your actions.
Think about the consequences of your words before you speak.
Change doesn’t happen unless you put in some ing effort into it.
