An rp that is meant to end

Hey guys,

Its surely been a while. How’s life going for you all?

recently I’ve been binge watching old school shows and my all time favorite is Boy Meets World. Some of you may not know what that is but you can watch it on Hulu.com. Basically it’s a 90s show that follows mainly a young boy and his family as he grows up and learns about the world. The show is super relatable which is why it was so popular and forever a classic no matter what happens. As I watched it last night I thought about us as we and the lessons we’ve learned up to our current ages so I thought “hey, why not make an RP about it?” 

Heres what I’m thinking:

Concept: We meet World Part 2. You will experience the world through a child’s eyes once again and as you age you’ll learn valuable lessons that will shape you for the rest of your life. We Meet World will be a school/slice of life themed RP that will have a definite end. All players (except those who decide they want to be an adult exclusively) will be students starting at the tender ages of 10 through 15. 10 to 13 will be in middle school and 14/15 will be freshmen in high school. There will be an opportunity to be in college if you chose to. The RP ends when the youngest class graduates college. You will have to live your life to the fullest.

How it works: You can form your own group of friends with other players and pick a grade to begin your life. You will attend class during the event times (you will be counted as absent if you miss class. Too many absences will get you held back a year. Parents and Teachers will can use the show as reference as to what lesson they want to teach. Random life events that will impact every single character will be posted as well. Everyone lives in the same world and goes to the same school so include each other in your plots as groups as much as you can. The school is K through 12 but sections off the grades as any other would me sing those that are freshmen in high school have their own hall in the school but it is possible to run into the middle schoolers when going to class or just hanging in the hall.You will get to go through specific classes. It’s not going to just a general idea sort of RP. It will be heavily focused on your character as they are at that age. The teachers classes will be treated as an event that will only last for a very short amount of time. Majority of your existence will be as you’d live it as a kid - in school or at home/somewhere playing. Everyone will need their own back stories.

Charachters: the RP will have few adults, as does the show. Everyone will get to be a kid again so you’ll need to pick a face claim or use the baby Snapchat filter to make your character look younger. All characters must be OC so I don’t mind if you don’t have a face claim. Everyone will be given time to get their stories straight and form groups or do whatever they need before needing to actually rp. The first day of school will be an event. Anyone who joins after the event begins/ends will be referred to as “the new kid” as they would in actual school. However, no one will be able to Join as the current youngest age once everyone shifts to a new grade since this rap has a definite ending. (For example: everyone moves up a grade meaning there are no more 10/11 year olds and you may not join as that age any longer.)

there will not be any time To dilly dally in a generic chat room or anything like that. Every room will have a purpose so you either use it or lose it. The moment school starts is the moment your life and the clock starts ticking. Think of the time before it as the Summer break before the beginning of a new school year. As far as the aging process goes, I will figure that out and include it into the rap details once it’s created.
