living amongst one another was neither as easy nor as difficult as our ancestors made it out to be. though we were different in appearance, we 've formed bonds stronger than we could've imagined. they viewed us as deadly. animalistic, but we were harmless; just as we hope they are to us. and yes, some of them are still afraid. most of them, however, are accepting, and even find our unusual features kind of cool.
