random au idea cus why not :-)

ive been keeping this in mind cus ive been reading bungou stray dogs (bsd) so... ^_^ i thought of this random idea but i feel like... it won't go well? but i'll still say it anyways. i talked to friend (yes friend u know who u r) and i kinda thought of something because i'm in the mood to revive my rping muse! and also i want to code and think of ideas for this because i have muse for it atm!

this is based off of bsd, so if you know the series, then yes. this au is mafia with abilities, and i know this is sounding a little cliche but PLS HEAR ME OUT

this is for people who have watched/read bsd (you can skip if you haven't):

• at first i was going to have the current port mafia and detective agency exist, but they would develop a branch in korea (since lol koreans). the current characters would exist, meaning yes dazai, chuuya, and blah blah, are actual human beings, but i wouldn't give them a faceclaim (too hard to find)
• having the same abilities does happen (if you watched all of the series, this is the case with oda and mimic's leader), so you may have the same abilities as the characters of bsd
• after talking to friend, i decided that this part is too hard and difficult to follow, especially for people who do not know what this series is about, so i just... scratched this whole idea T__T
• however!!!!! i will be keeping the idea of port mafia, armed detective agency, and gifted special operations division!!!!!!!

now this is my explanation:

• this isn't all fleshed out, so i am able to take ideas! if you haven't some, please leave a comment!
• this will take place in seoul (unless i make it fictional). the existence of ability users are known, so EVERYONE knows (think of it as idk bnha, i think everyone knows what bnha is)
• not everyone is born with these abilities. though having ability is not something rare, but it isn't common either. a lot of the abilities are deemed and are actually useless, so you are lucky if you happened to have one that is useful
• the government encourages the existence of ability users as long as it helps keep peace and society. in fact, they weaponize these ability users (will explain later)
• currently, seoul is dominated by a gang (will think of name later) and the higher positions are all ability users. you can still work/have a position in the gang, but it is very unlikely that you will have a high position as they are all dominated by ability users
• a private agency, called the armed detective agency, is created by an individual (will decide later) to help the government and run independently. they're also all ability users, but there are some exceptions. you may be a non-ability user, but you're most likely an office worker (tho they have a huge part in the agency)
• i haven't decided on the main goal of the gang atm, but the agency's main target is to crush the gang, and vice versa
• as for the government, there is a special division created for ability users who mainly exist the government. they are usually called by the government when an incident has to do with ability users, and they have the most connections to the agency
• you may also be a citizen with an ability or not. this will also run as a city au too, so you don't even have to participate in the big 3. you can just have a flower shop and mind your own business
• for abilities, they are not your usual typical ones where it's elemental (like ice, water, fire, etc) or your superhero-ish kinda thing. though, you CAN have these, but they're not unique, ya know! i recommend looking through this list to have an idea of what kind of abilities they have!

atm, there's still a lot that i need to figure out, so i will be needing 1-2 co-admins who can help me with this. though, this is simply an interest check because i'm not sure if anyone is interested in this T___T SO if you are interested!! pls comment!!
