Yes, this is a theory on the number of disappearances, and yes, my teacher has enough of a sense of humor to allow me to get away with mentioning this as a credible theory. I've also illustrated the wild animals (bobcats, pumas, bears) that might capture and eat the missing kids, and the remote possibility of people living on national park lands illegally (they're federally owned, so living there is a big no-no) kidnapping them. But yeah. My closing argument is wendigos.
