I keep listening to this song because it just makes me happy or at least makes me smile. The song, for reference, is Treehouse by James Arthur. Apparently, there are a couple of versions. The one I listen to is featuring Shotty Horroh and Ty Dolla $ign.
I was just wondering if there was anyone interested in doing a 5~7 person small rp where it's a treehouse in like one of their backyards or some free lot or park in the neighborhood. And it's just like this place where they all go to just hide away from the world. They can become friends by meeting up there (like they discovered it at different times and ended up running into each other), a planned meet up, one of them built it with a person or adult or someone that may or may not be around anymore, etc. Everyone can have their own story as to how they came to the treehouse. No gender restrictions. No orientation restrictions. No muse restrictions. Relationships can happen but it's not even close to a -based rp. It's more focused on the freedom they feel and friendships they build together. I would say it's mature only because drinking is allowed and smoking, but it's of course not required. I don’t intend to have my own character doing that.
This will be mainly a drama-based semi-au/au roleplay focused on friendship, love, healing, being a mess and not being alone. If more people really want to join at some point, the main group can discuss opening it up for others but this will be kept small for the time being. If it helps, I'm more than willing to come up with little events for moving the story along and for character development. Anyone would be welcome to make an event though, like a surprise party for one (or more) of the other characters for like a birthday, promotion celebration, anniversary celebration, etc. Not every single like thread will have to involve every person but this would be one where all the threads connect story-wise. Think of it like a show with episodes. Muse A and B used to talk about how Muse C made them uncomfortable or maybe they caught them smoking or taking pills recreationally but Muse C doesn't know about it at all. Somewhere down the line, in a thread with all three of them, or if Muse C shows up later in that thread, it comes out and they have an intervention for C. Something like that. I really hope that made sense...
I'll cap it at seven for now, so just let me know if you're interested and I'll add you to a list here in this blog. You can even say which muse you want. For now, we'll stick with one muse a person. If you guys really want to have second characters after getting a feel and all, we can work that out. Otherwise, other characters can be NPCs for the time being.
