that took so needlessly long to do that uh

i just wanted to give a quick rundown prior to reservations so you all can drive your characters. it'll be kinda quick but i recommend you read so you can learn more about the world. 

before i get into the universities: the gods in here ARE gods. i want to push ppl to not feel confined to certain relationships (such as zeus/jupiter doesn't have to be married with hera/juno and doesn't have to associate himself at all wikth her) but i do want ppl to be able to have fun with different sorts of relationship SUCH AS parent and child. so they will be gods and aware of their godly status. 

this is a "revamp" of my rp from late 2019. basically the way the rp worked was "olympus" was a completely modern world whereas the mortal world was set in like 500 BCE. it'll be the same in this rp. the university you are attending is akin to modern day universities but the mortal world will be set in 100CE (aka around the time of the Roman Empire's peak). so this is set IN the "godly realm" but the universities will restrict certain powers (an ooc thing just to make it not very weird fhjdk i dont wanna y'all impregnating others as a snake :knife: im looking at u zeus/jupiter). also all gods will refer to each other as their godly name, not their fc name (the only exception to this would be if, let's say, perseophone/prosperpina wanted to have a fake identity, then they could use their fc name as a fake name if they so wanted to). also think of this "godly realm" as a place where all gods reside, even norse, egyptian, japanese, and others. 

the reason why there is GREEK and ROMAN counterparts is bc a common complaint of greek mythology rps is that all the "good gods" are taken very early. so i hope to combat this a little with allowing greek and roman counterparts. 

you can be ANY god that is either greek or roman, including greek or roman exclusive gods such as pomona, lupus, janus, achelois, antheia, and khione. if your god has ONLY one name (ie. apollo) pls talk to me if you want to reserve the roman equivalent, we can talk about a name. 

now, the universities REAL QUICK

olympus university - a very old and classic university. prides itself in the arts, only those who excel massively can get into one of their art degrees. they have STEM programs as well but it's not very well funded and not as prestigous. they pride themselves in their huge sorority/fraternity community full of nice and giving people, as well as their famous clubs such as the literature club and debate club. 

colosseum university - a new and hip university, full of modern architecture. the university takes pride in its STEM courses and does the absolute best to fund and help their students pursue their dreams. their arts courses are not as prestigous. though both universities have sports teams, the colosseum university has one of the best teams in the realm, and they take all their sports very seriously. doesn't have fraternities or sororities but has large scale clubs.

if your god is greek (ie. zeus) then they must attend olympus, if they are roman (ie. jupiter) then they must attend colosseum.

ok! here is a quick rundown on how to apply

1.  please include godly name + faceclaim name + whether they are greek or roman
2. you can reserve two characters but they must not be from the same university (ie. you must reserve a greek god and roman god, not two greek or two roman)
3. the rp will be opening tomorrow (march 1st)! 
4. also i forgot to mention but we don't accept titans as of rn! you can only be students that are gods.
